News from Villore reaches Gutter Press, that a prominent drone rights advocate is actually a drone !

Amazing !

Miss Dominique de Dodixie, or "3D" as she is known to some communities on Gal-Net, had previously fought off allegations of being a drone in a people suit, by submitting to a medical examination that proved she had an organic brain, which had silenced many critics.

She had explained her other cybernetic augmentations as being part of her political stance, advocating for citizenship for advanced drones. This was not well received by some critics, who claimed she was a human in a drone suit in a people suit.

Confusing !

However, earlier today, Miss de Dodixie was involved in a horrific grav-vehicle accident on Villore, and following medical treatment, was revealed as having an artificial brain inside her organic one.

Reaction on Gal-Net was quick, with some now calling Miss de Dodixie a "drone wearing a meat suit, wearing a drone suit, wearing a people suit."

Layering !

Experts on constitutional law and cybernetics have given Gutter Press their opinions on the incident.

"I'm not sure there is actually anything in the constitution about this", said one legal expert from the University of Caille.
"Well, she must be pretty sophisticated to pass as human", said a cybernetics expert from CreoDron.

Uncertainty !

We asked some people on the street in Villore, for their opinions.

"man, what ? 3-D is a machine ?", said one Intaki youth. "Whoa!"
"Aww, I was going to vote for her in the next election", said a Gallente exotic dancer. "Now I don't know who to vote for."
"And this is why the Federation must be destroyed", said a Civire P.O.W. employed on public spaces gardening duties.
"I don't care if my customers are people or machines, it's none of my business", said a Jin-Mei fashion designer.

The issue of drone rights remains controversial in Gallente society !

If it waddles like a celestial mallard, and screams, then it's a celestial mallard. Isn't that how the old saying goes?
Why then do we feel the need to pick apart these poor people?
Dominique never hurt anyone, did she? and yes I do say she, "It" isn't an acceptable pronoun, it's YC117 people!

Advanced drones are a part of our society, and it's time we treated them as such. Justice for 3D!

If you are capable of creating a sentient being, you are responsible for what becomes of it. This applies whether your children are conceived in a bedroom or a workshop.

I don't ever believe the gutter press, but I will say this biological or technological all life ought to have the same standing, so it really doesn't matter of this person is a drone or a natural born human.
