Since Evil At Work is updating the EOC.TV I am not able to log into the teams page and see what my doctrine is, nor where my dock up is. Is there anyway to see this outside of EOC.TV?

Why have you put me in a team and sent joining instructions when I have already told you I'm not taking part?

I also asked you to confirm if Broadcast for Reps was a supported charity, you haven't answered yet.

It's supposed to start at 20.00, I hope this ain't some kind of attempted scam. I'm kinda nervous about the lack of replies from the guys organising this atm.

You cannot join the channel because it is overloaded. Due to scalability issues, at most 50 users are allowed at any given time on a channel that is configured with Immediate-mode memberlist management.

Let me first thank each and everyone of you for showing up today!. The turnout was a lot better than we honestly expected bringing in close to 2,100+ players with 700 donations to help support the charities and organizations we where doing this for.
We would like to send out a big shout out to our FC’s who without them, this event probably wouldn’t have gone as smooth as it did. So thank you guys, we do appreciate you, and from what we have already heard, those in your fleet had a great time.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors, who brought us onto their shows, wrote articles about us, donated insane amounts of isk to help provide the content you saw today.

We would also like to thank CCP Guard & CCP Logibro for helping us get this event organized. They were a huge help with everything, make suggestions and guiding us in the right direction.

That being said, we are fully aware that we as EOC.TV made some mistakes during this event today and in it’s planning. To name a few, the doctrines were released to late, the website went down hours before the the event causing confusing. AND! We selected a system right next to goons… so like always… GRRRR GOONS!!! However at the end of the day even with all that… over 2,100 pilots showed up!

Now about the prizes. Over the next few days we will be going through the kill data, and once we find those who have met the prize requirements and have verified they donated to the event. We will reporting those findings to both Chribba and CCP so that the prizes can be awarded accordingly. So please bare with us over the next few days while we get all that sorted out. You should be able to find out everything on the website http://eoc.tv/eve/rumble by the end of the week.

Because of the events success we will be planning another along with a few other things that EOC.tv and the Evil At Work Network will be launching over the next few months. So look forward to those.

Again we at Evil At Work (Parent Company of EOC.TV) would like to thank EVERYONE including you 3rd party whores for coming out to the event! We hope you all had fun killing each other, specially those nice shiny Titans and we look forward to see you all at our next event.

If you would like to get in touch with us, you can find us on the tweetfleet slack under #eoc-tv.

First things first!

I had a great time socializing with others on my team while in TIDI warp (10 %). More than enough time to take bio breaks, drink refills, shopping, etc. during warp. Kills were great, FC's outstanding, and all for a good cause. I will be there for the next one.
Big smile

Now! Time for some constructive criticismSad

1. Getting the event info out there... Kinda dropped the ball on that one. Due to some issues on your part, the web page listed the wrong team TS info which led many participants frustrated ( some began to chant slogans, grab pitchforks and torches ).

2. Selected system! Lowsec is fine, but... work with CCP to have other system wide constraints placed on hold while the event is in progress. example: Security status, the poor servers were so busy counting the security status drop of some 2000 pilots that TIDI was excessive.

Thanks

Max

Civil discourse is uniquely human. After all, when is the last time a pride of lions and a herd of water buffalo negotiated SOV over a watering hole? Never. Someone either gets their ass kicked or eaten. At the end of the day someone holds SOV.

Thanks for all of the feedback!!

You are absolutely right, the info was released late, and some people had the wrong info. And now, with tons of amazing feedback poring in we can make sure these things are fixed for the future. It was our first time with the creating a major event, so we learned alot.

EOC.TV Rumble is an Annual event, and the next one will be a lot bigger and better. :)

Yup agree, any update? Site is up but can't see anything on there.

Was a great event, obviously for a first event there's always going to be something that's not as expected.

So, I've read the article at http://crossingzebras.com/eoc-tv-crumble/ as I'm sure have many others.

Is there any comment from the financial overseer, Chribba ?

Is there any comment from CCP?

--

In case this was a scam (as I had already made some of my alliance aware in the first place when I tentatively donated my ISK), well played, you got me.

The only reason I had any confidence in the event was the fact that CCP not only advertised but seemed to endorse it during the o7 show.

I'll keep my donations to charities through official channels from now on.

I hope both Chribba and CCP have the spine to make comment. It's clear that EOC.TV already have none whatsoever.

My apologies for my delays as I'm still touring the Australian outback where speedy and reliable internet connectivity is as rare as the subzero temperatures I long for back home in Sweden Smile

I've not been able to keep up to date with exactly what prizes and similar was going to be available at the event as the prize list was changed a number of times up until the event itself (something I commented on with the organizers multiple times, probably enough to get them really annoyed at me Lol). I can however confirm that I do have a number of capitals and ISK in my possession. I've only managed to make a rough estimate based on a prize list I was given (due to the above mentioned lack-of-internet) and it should be fairly in line for what I have been told.

I will be able to make a better look and properly start handing out things when I am back home in Sweden next week (FYI this delay on my part have been announced to the organizers, or well the people initially confronted me about participation, seeing as I knew I would be away on vacation).

So I do have some in-game prizes to give out, if I was handed full coverage I do not fully know at this stage but it looks ok. As far as CCP prizes go is obviously something for CCP to handle as that goes beyond my ability.

We apologize for the delay of the listing of the winners.

We are almost done with sorting through all of the Kill Mails for the prizes. We have come into a few problems regarding the kill mails to be fair and correct.

Evil At Work wants to be fair and it seems the Kill Mails might have been processed in batches. We are going through all the data of the event. We have pods dying before the actual ships as an example. When it comes to first kills as an example, this is very important.

The last thing Evil At Work wants is to release winners and it turns out they are not the winners based on the data.

We have reached out to multiple parties to assist and verify in this process.

@Fang, We are sorry that this has caused frustration. We just want to be correct, honest, and have valid winners. We will have them soon we promise :)

I think that you (by "you" I mean event oganizers) are somewhat ridiculous. Event was held more then two weeks ago, the site with all the participants and prizes list went down on the night of the event, and when it came back (after, I don't know, 7 days of postponing the launch with a stupid timer being reset every day?) every piece of information regarding the Rumble has vanished.

As a new player (I started playing no more than 2 months ago) I am certain that I am not gonna attend any event organized by EOC.TV or Evil At Work and will consider twice taking part in any organized event at all...

I do not pretend to any prizes, but I guess there were some people rushing for those early kills who have every right to feel even more dissapointed in the organizers then me. What is more you supposedly arranged some material prizes from CCP. This is even more outrageous that those matters are not dealt with after 2 weeks. I really do hope you will never be entrusted with any prizes from any sponsors (including, but not limited to CCP).

To close on the upside I'd like to thank Mister Toucher, who was my Fleet Commander, and all the folks from my team for tutoring the newbie and showing some nice fleet tactics. If not for You this entire event would be a waste of time and only a reason for frustration.

We appreciate your reply @thomashkis and Welcome to EVE Online.

We want to be fair and correct, so in turn we needed to go through all the kill mails ( when someone dies it generates a report) from the event that appear out of order as it was one of the biggest events in eve history.

For us to say you killed this person first without having the verifying data would be unethical and unfair. You would not want that would you?

Sorry it has taken so long. As mentioned on https://twitter.com/evilatwork_co our twitter feed, we will be announcing the winners soon.

Have I missed something but has anything actually been announced? Is this still unresolved?
