Hello All,

Since the new expansion Triexporter doesn't seem to be able to open all the ship models anymore, an those it can when exported to 3ds files apparently are now in the incorrect format, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other way to extract the ship models from EVE with there texture files so they can be used in a modelling program such as 3ds Max

Confirming I have the same problem.
Triexporter often crashes when trying to open a *.gr2 file, and among the ones that I do manage to save in the *.3ds format, many will not open into 3DS Max. "Incorrent format".

TriExporter working fine with Crucible.
If you have crashes while opening GR2 models - update granny library (you can find some working lib in Silent Hunter 5 or Anno 1401 IIRC or read through old TriExporter topic carefully to find links)
Also always export models in obj format.

BEST FACE GAI!

I have the latest granny file but I have issues opening some files in triexporter in win7 64 with amd cpu.
I also find that when triexporter crashes once I can never open it again, unless I remove all memory of it from my computer.
My i7 laptop with win7 64 has no such issues although it completely up todate were my amd isn't.

Can you give me an example of a model that crashes your triexporter /res/dx9/ship/ etc path) ?

Also... where did you find that "Drake Navy Issue" ? Test server ?
