Good morning LAGLers!

We just had our Elections day in Spain and turnout has been a mess of impossible allegiances. Right/Conservatives (2 major parties) can block the election of any Left/progressive PM, and Left/Progressives (also 2 major parties) can block the reelection of the current Right/Conservative PM. The former allegiances among Catalan nationalistic conservatives and Spanish conservatives is blocked since Catalan nationalistic conservatives are palying the separatist card, and anyway they've been locally outperformed in Catalonia by Catalan left nationalists, who also are separatists.

We are in a pretty mess. Spanish People has voted for change and they've replaced bipartidism with a mutually locking four-partidism! Watch and see:

1st can agree with 4th...
2nd may agree with 3rd, but 3rd was meant to wipe out 2nd...
3rd and 4th hate each other...
4th could agree with 2nd but not with 3rd...
1st and 2nd could agree among them but then they would alienate the mainstream of their voters and hand them in a platter to the 3rd and 4th parties, who certainly won't agree in no way...

Fun times for Spain politics and governemnt... will we end up holding a second election? Wait and see! Bear

Last Wednesday was the 35th anniversary of Colonel Sanders passing away.He did so much for our tastebuds and may he rest in peace.

I guess I'm old, compared to some, young compared to others, it's all dependent on definition of "old", I suppose.

Eating KFC in the past few years has caused me health issues, headaches and **** like that. No idea what they've changed, but it's **** now.
