I'm going to make a proposal/ edit to the last configuration I posted. There has been a lot of recent interest in this particular type of ship. I hope others will review this original post of the idea, I've directed the more recent forum posts to here.

Drone Capacity: 40m3

ORE Frigate bonuses (per-level)
10% bonus to drone hitpoints and damage
4% bonus to all shield resists

Expedition Frigate bonuses (per-level)
5% bonus to effectiveness of mining foreman links
5000m3 bonus to ore bay capacity

Role bonuses:
95% Reduction to power grid requirements for mining foreman links
250% Increase to small tractor beam range
- Can use Mining Foreman Links
- Can only equip 1 Mining Foreman Link

As you can see I made several changes, predominantly to the Expedition Frigate and the role bonuses. In order to offset the fact that this ship can only use one mining foreman link I decided to bump it to 5% per level. Also since its entering the support roll similar to the Orca, but obviously on the smaller scale I added the tractor beam range bonus and made it significantly longer. The ore bay was also increase per level. I did delete the closing bonuses since we can't really get everything we want in a single ship.

Tell me what you think I'd still entertain a probing or cloaking bonus but I feel like this is more in line with the true nature of the ship we are look in for and other ORE support craft. I am also reconsidering the idea of this as a frigate. Perhaps it should be on the scale of a destroyer instead, with its own unique can skill book/plan. I guess as long as it can get in those smaller shattered systems.

I'm not quite sure of why you are taking to hostility here pilgrim. This isn't an "End of Eve" thread, quite the contrary. Adding ships is good, in fact I'd almost argue to some degree it's better than updating old ones after players get bored with them. That's not CCPs fault.

But, I digress, as this is one of the "first" posts on the matter, and; rather than make another new 'Make a mining booster ship' I posted here. Your points are moot. The only one complaining is you, so be sick to death of yourself, or by yourself...
