The average joe can make a corporation in under an hour with only 1 million isk. And if he can afford making the citadel, which will most likely be in the hundreds of millions, he can own one. Infact, he can go into lowsec and set up one too.

The fact that he may not be able to defend it by himself, isnt CCPs problem, and doesnt change the fact that an average joe can still own a citadel.

I dont know how fun it would be to have to defend a pos alone, but you dont need to be in the 1% to own a citadel.

Because I want to be part of a corporation for other things... I have said this 20 times now. Read the thread. I shouldn't have to pick and choose.


Dont most, if not all games, force you to pick and choose whether you will be a tank, DPS or Healer?

And yet, what youre saying is akin to "I want to be an amazing tank, DPS and Healer on the same character, at the same time". Sorry, but that would break the game and make it boring.

Games have drawbacks for a reason. You cant have everything on one character, at the same time. You cant be everything on one character, at the same time.

One can have all the necesswry skills on a single character and switch between ships, for the other ones.

True that. Ships are the EVE equivalent of Tank, Healer, Rouge, etc.. EVE is actually much more user friendly regarding "class change". You can switch back and forth as you like by changing ships, whereas other games force you to change the character and everything else like inventory, money/gold, and so on.

If I understand OP correctly he wants a Citadel for free without risk like wardecs that also prints him money out of thin air. I don't know why this thread wasn't closed after 5 minutes...
