It's got gravimetric sensor strength but a minmatar image.

Daredevil isn't Dram. Vigi and Vindi have Gallente background, but not DD.

People are confused because there are two dirty pirate organizations: minmatar/gallente and gallente/minmatar. Only Concord guy knows which one is more scummier.

But wasnt the Daredevil supposedly built by the Guardian Angels even though it is technically a Serpentis frigate?

....Pretty sure that used to be in the description unless that has changed. Something about it being the counterpart to the Dramiel or something close to that.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It still says that. Also from the wiki Guardian Angels page:

I get the reason for it but when they just go and switch it one day it is a bit confusing. If I'm not mistaken a long time ago it had the minny background, and then switched to gallente, and now it is back to minny. Although in the preview window it has (had?) the gallente background further confusing it.

It needs to be a Gallente background colored icon to help unaware ECM pilots identify and apply the proper jammers.

On that basis I'd argue for all ships having the wrong background.....

ECM is the turd that CCP just can't polish - it needs to be gone!

This should be the way for every ship indeed. Background color fitting to the targeting system used.
