This fiction contest is expected to run again this year. The announcement should be posted some time in October. Just wanted to give an advance alert, to be as fair as possible to all potential writers. (Some people who have written for the past contests are already writing, anticipating that there will be one again this year. o7

Contest is now live! Deadline for story submissions is November 18, 2015. (Apologies to Lunarisse Aspenstar for overlapping on her fiction contest a couple of weeks. I wasn't aware of her contest until I came here to update. I can't change the dates for this contest, some of the the judges have commitments and timeframes to meet. But on the upside perhaps-- writers have another venue for posting new stories, and another couple of weeks for crystallizing some partly-formed stories).

(P.S. It was Silver Night's "Images from EVE" contest, which I wrote for but missed the deadline, that started the chain of causation to the Pod & Planet contest thing. o7 all writers and creators of writing venues)

Hmm, it works for me using Firefox, but who knows. Our tech department.... well, it doesn't exist. Smile The site should show up up if you google search "pod and planet fiction contest wix" though.
