Why do you people only care about ISK? If you only want ISK stay with incursions.

Doesn't anyone else actaully have *fun* playing a video game and not worry about isk?

This is a most relevant statement.
Far too much ISK per hour grinding going on.

Just sub for 6 months to a year and play the space game....

Non-blob fights are everywhere.

There is a lot of solo pvp in the game and just as much small gang fights where each side stands a chance.

I agree, actually. An individual can potentially run a small POS by themselves, but Citidels are far out of reach even for the most determined.

I think a smaller, weaker line should be developed for individual usage, the obivious downside would be they are just that much less resistance to attacks, and can hold less in the way of ships and less powerful defenses.

I would buy a small Citidel in a heart beat if one exsisted.

See the problem is that removes you from PvP and a lot of PvE too.

Also, I am speaking as someone who can be part of an alliance, but doesn't want to because of the lack of control over your own destiny.
The problem lies with everything that is tied to corporations really is tied to mega coalitions because the mega coalitions control the alliances and their corperations.

To say that EVE is good because of the dependence on groups is nieve.
The game has the lowest player counts in over 8 years. Clearly 10s of thousands of people(the majority) disagree.

Uh, what?

Being in a corporation removes you from PvP? And from PvE?

Am I misunderstanding you? Because I can't see how that works.

Solo and small gang PvP is totally dead in this game.
You cant reasonibly access null sec PvE or Mining

Small gang pvp is alive and well... promise.

Not if people don't want to let you climb the ladder. This game is dying and this elitist attitude is why, yet CCP continues to develop the game with this attitude. Like I said before this new system would be a GREAT way to start breaking the trend that is killing the game.

Do you have data that supports this claim? Keep in mind that correlation does not necessarily indicate causation ... gonna need more than "Eve is dying. Subs are down because CCP is bad."

Nobody has data because a company has the data that makes money off it and spins it to look good... sooooo That is unreasonable to only think I am credible with CCP's top secret data.

Will the average joe be able to own a citadel or will we have to have proof from a mega coalition? Roll Right now you have to have permission from your corporation, alliance, coalition or mega coalition to have a POS or Station.

I ask because CCP needs to stop giving a handful of people opportunity's and fun. I am tired of 1% of the population controlling the game.

This is a great chance for CCP to give power to the playerbase as a whole.

I dont understand.

The average joe can make a corporation in under an hour with only 1 million isk. And if he can afford making the citadel, which will most likely be in the hundreds of millions, he can own one. Infact, he can go into lowsec and set up one too.

The fact that he may not be able to defend it by himself, isnt CCPs problem, and doesnt change the fact that an average joe can still own a citadel.

I dont know how fun it would be to have to defend a pos alone, but you dont need to be in the 1% to own a citadel.

Because I want to be part of a corporation for other things... I have said this 20 times now. Read the thread. I shouldn't have to pick and choose.

Everything in the game requires you to pick and choose.

It's not that you don't want to pick and choose, because you already do that anyway.

It's just that you want to whinge because the choices as currently being developed don't exactly suit what you feel your entitled to and this thread is the result.

It's totally possible to be in a Corp and own your own Citadel and if you want to give yourself more flexibility, to create a one-man Corp with an alt and own the Citadel with that Corp while remaining in your existing Corp.

That's also been explained to you several times over, but you continue to cry like a child rather than just solving your problem yourself.

FFS. eve offline doens;t show you sub data, just the ammount of people logged in. you cna not look at the ammount of people on and go 'see eve is dying!' as there are a number of factors that go into that. Stop using eve offline as a source.

a better way is to show that ccp lost money last year (they did, about 10%) but china is rising (they are)

seriously hate when people use eve-offline as some 'proof' eve is dying

i think i answered this already, there will be no personal citadels. They are all corp controled. However, due to changes in the access levels that are coming, your director or ceo can set you as an owners of a single citadel and restrict access or make it so you cna adjust access. ofcourse at any time the ceo and director can remove your access.

if you want your own cit, you need to make your own corp.

Mediums are aimed at individuals and small groups.

Material costs for a Medium Citadel are 650-700 million, for the rigs 60-70 million and we don't know yet for the various modules.

So assuming you buy a BPC for about 100 million and build yourself, the cost of a Medium with rigs and modules will be about a PLEX. Add a few modules and then only fuel when needed and the price should be well within the reach of individuals.

Fuel is only consumed when a station service is used. Not simply for a Citadel floating in space.
And we have the costs for most of the modules also since CCP released build requirements.

Yes, that's what I meant in relation to fuel. Not like a POS currently.

Thanks for the info on the module costs. I missed that. Will go looking.
