ASUS is good. 2K is good enough for now. Honestly 4K support is pretty iffy in a lot of games and 2K is about all you can really handle with a single GPU anyway. SLI/Crossfire is another story obviously. Make sure you get something with G-Synch or FreeSynch depending on if you have Nvidia or AMD, respectively. You also want a low response time, and if you have a good PC preferably a refresh rate above 60. I've been wanting to get this one.

I've had a Dell 3014 for over a year and it's been a great monitor. I've also had a GTX titan since they first came out and it's been flawless for multi-boxing. I don't think you can have overkill on a video card for a 30" monitor.


My last concern really has to do with the extra video card bandwidth I'll need going to 2K, thus why I am upgrading from my current 7 series to a 980 Ti. With the U3014 and the 980 Ti, do you think think I will have any issues with maintaining 60 FPS with all the video settings at max and running 4 clients at the same time? I know Eve isn't anywhere near as video card dependent as games like Battlefield, but this is really my last concern before pulling the trigger. I can do 4 clients, max video settings in 1K and get about 30-35 fps with my current setup.

I use a widescreen monitor, love it.
