Dear CCP Devs,

If you could look into your heart and please stop breaking my launcher on Windows 10 every other time there's an update I'd be incredibly grateful.

I thank you for your continued dedication to the game and know you'll do the right thing.

Please give us more details - my psychic powers are too weak to visualize how the launcher is broken for you.

My apologies, I thought you had been working hard on those skills and had hit level 5 in mind reading. Good look in your progression. I'll congratulate you via the medium of the mind once you've successfully hit your target.

Anyway, it seems that after there is a significant patch my launcher cannot see that the server is online and I continually get the "Offline mode" message asking if I would like to restart the launcher. This is fixed by reinstalling the launcher, but it gets rather tedious doing that over and over.

I'm using Windows 10 with all the latest updates, any other information you need from me?

In this case, I would encourage you to try the new launcher we've been developing. It was introduced in this dev blog: http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/testing-a-new-eve-launcher/

The latest version can be downloaded from https://binaries.eveonline.com/EveLauncher-991682.exe

It is still officially in beta but that will change soon, and is definitely the way forward.
