I kid you not...

There is company now offering "Troll Insurance"
https://thestack.com/security/2015/12/10/chubb-to-offer-uk-troll-insurance-policy/

"Chubb, a household name for its locks and safety equipment, will provide its personal insurance policy customers the option to claim expenses ensued from online abuse. Cyberbullying is defined by the insurer as ‘three or more acts by the same person or group to harass, threaten or intimidate [paywalled] a customer.’"

"While the new insurance option is targeted towards parents concerned about their children’s online activities, adults who are targeted by cyber abuse will also be able to make a claim."

Any bros in the UK want to tell us what rates are like?

Chubb security offers armored cars services (with licensed to carry on site armed guards).

We EVE players do fit the profile of people who could benefit from this. Unfortunately, though, there's no profit to be had. They don't pay you cash payments, they just pay to "cover counselling and relocation costs." Ugh

If they have an affiliate program would it be wrong to gank people and offer them the insurance on an alt?

You mean, like an insurance fraud?

Nah it'd be more like affiliate fraud.

A more accurate example would be if I was an arsonist AND sold fire insurance.
I wouldn't actually be the one collecting the payout.

Yeah but it only works if they do affiliate sales.

I can create demand for the insurance with ganking, but I don't get paid if I don't get a % cut of the insurance sales.
Eventually it falls apart when its not profitable, but thats not my problem as I should been getting paid at that point.

You're missing the point.
Do you really think that the insurance company has to cover for cases where parties plan to cause damage by mischief?

Final Solution

How can you legally create demand with ganking when the insurance doesn't cover ganking and only covers trolls, or spam.

Affiliate sales, or associates, is an association, and if that association proves to be an association to commit something illegal, it can be interpreted as a conspiracy.
Just because it is a conspiracy to commit insurance fraud doesn't mean that it's legal to plan to try to justify it with 2 or more persons.

You'd be lucky if it falls apart and you don't find yourself in jail.
As for it not being your problem, I am sure you have other problems on top.
I don't think you should get paid for that, no.

I used to have a non-compulsory business liability errors & omissions insurance offer (the legal sector have a compulsary policy) from Lloyd's of London which are an insurance market company.

The coverage they offered following the 9-11 fifty (50) billion twin tower payout.
They do not covre for electronic publishing, including EVE Online forums post, defense department related work, and most high-end business work.

We care about people here in New York too. Mostly, about whether they're in our way, or taking up too much space on the train or the road.
