What nerfs are those? I only recently came back.

Some of the easier missions that new players often do have been made harder and grindier.

It may be a bug.

Some people think it is a failed stealth attempt by CCP to nerf high end mission blitzing but if so it is is probably one of the most inept attempts at balance change they have ever done (the changes effect everyone BUT the high end blitzer types). My vote is it is a bug because even CCP are not THAT incompetent.

We're not entirely sure - it may be due to grid changes, but here's a list of anomalies.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I, personally, love doing lvl 4 missions in my Marauder simply because of 100mil isk/hour, blasting the wretched while listening to rock music with adrenaline pumping and enjoying the beautiful flashes of guns firing / ships exploding.

So I recommend you trying missions, maybe you'll like it, maybe not.

PS: Recommend going from: Raven --> Raven Navy issue --> Golem / Rattlesnake.

Actually with the recent buff the Barghest makes a pretty decent end goal and compares favorably with the Machariel in many ways. If you like missiles go for the Barghest, if you like Guns go for the Machariel. If you like lazors then probably either a Nighmare or Paladin but I don't have a ton of experience in that area so I don't know how and if they compare to the Mach/Barghest.

What should people who like hybrids or drones aim for?

Dunno, let me know when you find out Pirate

Seriously though Hybrids just aren't as flexible. Blasters are too short ranged, rails just have too low dps/tracking and the dedicated drone boats don't have enough juice either because they've been abused in both pvp and pve in the past. Probably the best you're gonna get is rail vindi or blaster kronos but they have limitations.

I mean they'll work for any lv4 in the game, make no mistake. There are just so many better ships. Yea I don't like it either.

The MJD Sentry Domi still works well as a beginner Drone ship. Ignore guns altogether and use sentries with a flight of lights for any annoying frigates or spider drones that get too close.

Beats looking for Operation Frostline sites...

So yeah, people think they are boring and repetitive. Like there's some magical aspect to whatever they do repetitively for isk that makes it not repetitive. I do missions, exploration, and a little bit of industry. I would in fact pull my hair out if I did any of those 3 things exclusively.

Having a lot of agents takes a lot of work, and I still need to find (read grind or pay for) some agents that hand out a lot of .vs Sanshas and BR for my pally. I fly 3 out of the 4 marauders I.E. not the Kronos, which I have no desire to fly.

Its a decent way to make ISK if you don't have the time to grind Wormholes or Incursions. Except for operation Frostline sites. Anybody except the guy that keeps complaining about them can do them.

That was low and wildly unpredictable income before jump freighters and cloaky haulers. Now it's completely pointless. Speaking from experience.
