Getting back into the saddle

Greetings capsuleers. You probably don't remember me, I was following the Arek'jaalan project for a while and participated a little in investigating the unidentified structures and the drifters up until I had to dock up and leave the capsuleer life behind just under a year ago. As a result I've been out of the loop for a while.

Can anyone help me get up to speed? Last time I was active the drifters were carving up (I think) those unidentified structures & attacking capsuleers. Are they still active and if so what are they doing? Did we ever find out what happened to the Jovians? And did Dr Tukoss ever turn up? If anyone could help me get up to speed or give me a nudge in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Greetings, Mr. Xell. It would appear that your "tax evasion limited" is based out of Caldari space. A team of financial inspectors has been dispatched and will be over in your HQ shortly to find out just how limited limited is.

Dear Mr. EdXell,

Welcome back in pilot's seat. The drifters changed their focus from the Jove Observatories to other matters. After a time of continued retrieval of information and/or material, the Jove Observatories rapidly went through increased stages of decay. In the meantime, CONCORD charted unidentified wormholes which eventually led to Drifter occupied shattered systems. Five are known so far. They are called Vidette, Redoubt, Sentinel, Conflux, and Barbican. Those systems are supposed to be staging systems for Drifter armed forces. Dr. Hilen Tukoss' clone was discovered in one of the central sites of those new wormhole systems. DED and CONCORD declared Mr. Tukoss officially dead after some crisis surrounding the ownership of his last known clone body. His last will and funeral eventually was executed.

Since then, Drifter confrontation greatly increased. With the central intelligence or agenda behind them still unknown, they are now universally seen as a threat. A massive Drifter force destroyed the Titan class vessel of Her Majesty Empress Jamyl I. Sarum in Amarr space and thus killed Her Majesty. What followed is a war between the Amarr Empire and the Drifter forces and we are presently witnessing Drifter incursions throughout Amarr space (up to three jumps away from the Amarr Homeworlds).

This basically sums it up, but there are many more details. The Drifter staging systems sport several unique and very strange sites, including massive structures with some kind of active space-time bending mechanisms at work. You are welcome to join the channel "Consortium Operations" where we try to investigate further and push deeper into the riddles behind the increasing Drifter menace. Operations are scheduled regularly by IKAME and Consortium partners. I would be happy to see you join the wings.

Sincerely yours,

Thank you for the summery. It's clearly been an eventful year. Once I've got things together I'll certainly join in the investigation and/or poking the hornet's nest.

Ms Nieyli I look forward to meeting your inspectors. I believe they'll find everything in order.
