1)eve can be better if more peoples come to the game . i suggest you to lower "a bit " (12 euros per month seems fair) the price of month subscription . a sever with 40 k peoples is more passionating than one with 20kpeoples (maybe you can try the following thing : tell your old players that for like 3 months they get reduced subscription payment .a solution for alt accounts " a link account to another account" and then get a reduced price on the second account like 30 % reduced price subscription on second account .
2) one thing that bring passion in the game is ships , so i suggest creating more ships an idea i got is to do the following thing :
make tier 1 ships upgradable to let say tier 1,5 by buying an item let say "ship enhancer technology" then if you don't have the ISK , the skills to pilot and buy a tier 2 ship , you can upgrade a tier 1 ship to a higher level , (less competive than a T2 ship but better than a T1 ship ) , a cool thing that can be made is an upgrade for rookie ships .
3) create more ships , customizations
4) expand the sansha invasion system
5) reduce the price of implants(or lesser the required need of material 25-30 % seems fair): implants are expensives for peoples that want to go to low sec or null sec but don't got the ISK (let say a new account with 2 month old) to rebuy lost implants if they die.
6) reduce some of the penalties between factions or agents . raising a positive faction can be long sometimes.
7) make a way for new players to get skills points faster to catch older players .
8) make fitting suggestion for new players (the number of items that can be fitted on a ship is huge, they need a way to guid them (at least in the beginning)
9) make new expansions faster and bring exciting content (more ships or upgrades of T1 ships) and do the following thing (if a player subscribe or resubscribe after the first month of an expansion = price reduced on first month subscription

edit :
10 ) one of the thing that is interesting and passionating in eve is courrier contract , but they appear to be not very good rewarded for the ISK you lose if you fail at it , another thing is that new players can't go into it fast due to the need of having big ISK in bank (to buy ship and afford the loss if they fail) i suggest that we can know "approximatively" the price of goods that we are going to courrier , the downside is that people then can think " hey i gonna steal it " but it's a risk they need to take as we take risk courrier it , in exchange big scams can be avoided making this system less "painting target on my ship" .
anyway if this idea is not retained , think about improving the system , because it's a very exciting thing to do in eve , and it need to be improved in some way to lesser the dangerous side .

1) Likely not to happen, they have enough sales that this isn't really a problem anyways, just buy at the right times. Besides you can always offset a month or so even with occasional play by buying plex.
2) Because it's cool is a terrible reason to add things. What role would these T1.5 ships fill? T1 is basic ships, T2 specialized to a role and T3 versitile jack of all trades so what would T1.5 be? Not only that but are these roles necessary? Do they open up new game play or just more redundant ships? Besides it takes a great deal of effort to create art assets in addition to adding new ships, why do you think so many ships have only slightly altered models instead of whole new ones?
3) You literally just suggested this and more customization? Is something like 5000 different modules that you can put in any order so long as you have the fittings not good enough for you? Like honestly, what the hell more do you want?
4) This is being done in the form of drifter incursions
5) Implants are fine, if you want the extra boost you have to risk it, that's the way eve is.
6) They're actually thinking just the opposite. Your actions have consequences. Besides with new security tags it's not nearly as grindy to get your sec status back up.
7) No, they just upped the amount of starting skill points by a massive amount. The rest is to keep new players from flying what they dont understand. It helps give goals and time for players to understand not just what the ship does, but how to fit it and fly it as well.
8) This is a solid idea, fitting advice is not nearly as available as it should be unless your in an at least semi decent corp. It wouldn't hurt to have a few solid frigate fits given to players in some way to help them under stand it.
9) They tried this but they had to slow it down because it had it's own issues over the 2 expansion a year release cycle. Currently they have a hybrid where they have constant small updates every 5-6 weeks while still leaving large desired features for expansions that happen twice a year.

Also they do give resubscribers a bonus or discount every now n again as well as having a decent amount of sales on plex.

Oh god, lemmie tear this one apart! Pirate

1: Eh, maybe
2: No, we PLENTY of ships, if you want a 'T1.5" ship, put on a T2 fit with T2 rigs, cause theres only a small increase from that to a comparable T2 hull.
3: Already have, LOTS of rigs and 2 types of customizable T3's.
4: NO, this needs to be shrank or removed entirely, the majority of the community agrees with this for nerfing highsec rewards.
5: Implants are SUPPOSED to be expensive, they are extras that give you an added edge, not a commonality.
6: Ok, not too bad here, but there should be tradeoffs from grinding one faction against another.
7: No, they are new players for a reason, you cant just GIT GUD at eve, if you want more skills, link more wikis to them.
8: Uhhhhh, how many online databases are there for this???? LOTS! Eve uni for example and battleclinic (While it is still online)
9: Sub discount makes ZERO sense here, and where has your head been buried for the last year? Don't you remember how long it USED to be between expansions? And CCP IS making new content atm through its special events (But I do agree that they should continue with things like this).

Soooo, 99% of this thread is useless

2. You can never have too many ships. Not sure tier 1.5 is the way to go. First is I think we should get 2 T2 variants for every faction ship sized BS and lower. I think there's room for more ships and design space, but I'll save that for another thread.

3. This is more vague. What kind of customizations and for what purpose?

4. No it needs to go down, but easier content like it needs to pop up for the other factions.

5. Don't care about this as I don't use them. No blingy pod here.

7. Wrong. Getting skills from rank 4 to 5 might needs to be speed up, newer players can level the stuff they need pretty fast.

8. This should be part of the tutorial and has been asked for for years.

I think most people stopped reading after reading number 2.

the way its been going up till now is fine and they're still doing a good job in most people's eye.
I understand you have a way to see to improve things, but a lot of the things mentioned are just if you think about it not going to happen.

Why do you think the game has too many ships? That's like saying MtG has too many cards and shouldn't do any more sets.

First I don't think, I know.

Second, we have many ships and most of them are one trick ponies stepping all over each others toes. Back in the day less ships let to more variety in how we fit them.

The more ships we have the more difficult it is to balance them to each other. I bet my soul that you cannot fly even the ships we already have to the fullest and claim to know them all.

Why do we need more is for you to elaborate on, not me. I am here long enough.
