28 PLEX for the Mordu Legion Parade SKINS - WTF?!

Some examples of good moves regarding SKINs:

Never reduce the price of a SKIN, even for a sale. The only direction SKIN prices should go is up.
Be forthcoming about the availability of a SKIN, and stick to it. If the Waschi SKINs are a limited promo, say so.

Don't offer an item in more than one reward, It just dilutes the value of that item in all tiers. The ORE SKINs should have been the mid-tier reward only. The Rorqual ORE SKIN is 80 mil as of last night, and I'm pretty sure I had it categorized under the Billion ISK SKIN tab in my market quickbar not long ago.

its pretty clear with some of the recent changes that it looks like ccp are trying to drive down the cost of in-game plex

people buying characters, people buying supers, people investing in the new citadels, people who sometimes fly around in 25bil isk ravens. basing that ccp said the majority of people who play eve are professionals then ill assume that £400 is actually easy enough to spend on a game if they wanted to

Pro Tip: if you do buy 28 PLEX, be sure not to put them in a Kestrel and undock in Jita.

I sold all of my skins that was once ships mainly because now only one character can fly that ship (skin) as before most all of mine could fly those ships in the past, for me skins are a wast as only one character can inject then fly that ship (skin) which is well.. sorta derpy.

Too be fair I'm not into what my crap looks like, it just needs to do what it's designed to do, I'm not space poor by any definition but to me spending ISK or RL monies on skins only usable on one character don't make allot of sense to me.

And to be honest, even if one could transfer skins from one character to another I still wouldn't bother as it's not a real ship like some were in the past..

Whomever is making the last few years decisions on what changes are to be implemented in this game, must hate Eve with all their being.

Eve store is gone. That's too bad because you could get real products for money. It surely wasn't profitable enough for them ...
Now, for a huge load of cash you get useless dematerialized stuff ... just ones and zeros. Why ? Because it's easy, it's effortless, it's lucrative.

I hope no one will buy this crap.

So they just press a button and these things come into virtual existence?

No one has to create the textures, the models,
has to apply the textures, iron out eventually overseen holes,
has to put them up in the shop and whatever I missed ?

Agreed, but only if players are enticed on a wider scale. If CCP is more consistent with their treatment of SKINs and SKIN exclusivity, yes it will work as an incentive for PLEX packs and the price of PLEX will drop, CCP will have more revenue, and SKINs will receive more interest as investment items.

In a real market yes..in a game market..no. Why would people lower the price of plex when they know others will pay it anyways. Once it reaches a point..it rarely, if at all, ever goes back. After all, if it costs too much to play for free..people will have to pay (CCP logic here)..right? What gets me are the ones who won't pay for a sub, but will buy plex with rl $...a sub is cheaper for pete's sake. Besides, the sub fee to play this game is chump change. Why spend half the month or more playing just to buy plex to play for free for another month of plex grinding? Blink

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..
