If you are considering joining EVE Uni, stop thinking and do it!

Everyone at the Uni is super helpful. You will learn so much. They have great classes, great programs, great newb fleets, and more.

I would not have stuck with EVE Online were it not for EVE University.

Eve University is a great place to meet new people and learn about all aspects of the game. If you do join make sure you come to live with some of us in Solitude. We have cake and ice cream socials every weekend and a small band that plays marching music from the gazebo every Saturday night.

Okay, not really. But we do have fun so come visit Project Solitude. Big smile

Really nice people, super helpful. I learned a ton from some of the more seasoned Unistas, and had some great conversations. I got my first pod kill and flew in my first fleet, fun times were had.

Even if you're like me, and you never get around to taking up residence in a campus, there's a lot to be gotten out of the Uni. I'm sure I'll be back in the future at some point so I can pass along my knowledge.

I have really enjoyed being in the Eve University for several months and plan to spend time learning at each of the campuses. It has also been fun teaching other new players and helping them get started. The Uni is a great way to get experience with all of the different parts of the game.

Having just recently left the University, I'd just like to say that if it weren't for the Uni I never would have made it this far in the game. I probably would have quit long ago.

All posted before is unfortunately not true!
Some guys are good guys but EVE UNI will make you wating months for an interview, filling forms and paper (but this is a videogame or a governemenatl bureau?) sometimes their low level recruitters will insult you for your supposed level of English and at the end if you do not show yourself enthusiastic like in a scientology sect your application will be refused without any explaination.
This is the true behaviour of the corp. I speak for direct experience. And if you will show all the evidence (records of the chats) to their CEO asking good common sense the answer you will get it will be that she can do nothing but you can read the materials on their internet site.....
Definitely only a marketing initiative and time lost for new players and veterans returning too.
