Out of Pod Experience

Alright, I'll start this thread out as a complaint against some bad examples of reddit moderation. Some subs are good, while others are boring or atrocious. As OP, I'll start first:

My most hated subreddit is /r/military. Why do I hate the online GIs? Well, I must say that I dislike the mods on that subreddit with a burning discontent towards them. Here are some reasons why:

1) The mods are complete a-holes. I'm not kidding, all of them are from the American armed forces. They're extremely butthurt, do not take any criticism and act like they're self-entitled to my respect. This ain't rumour mongering, try questioning their way of life and you'll get a ban. Instantly. At least, that's how I got mine because I decided it would be wise to ask a few stuff about the army, but I got banned for making a simple, inoffensive misconception.

2) The users think that I should bow down to them for their service. This is somewhat related to reason nr. 1, but when the green men throw the "YOU OWE YOUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO US" argument in my face, they somehow forget that I do not live, nor do I wish to live under United States jurisdiction.

3) Awful community. These guys are f*#king paranoid. They search through every thread and if they see something amiss, such as me posting in CS GO, they say stuff like "Oh, games brought you here? F*ck off and leave us alone". Besides that, if they even sense a tiny drop of a complaint in your post, they go all apesh*t on you and the mods ban you.


These are only just a few reasons to why I'll make sure never to visit that cesspool of a reddit, it reeks of asshatery. What about you, capsuleers? What is your most hated subreddit? Please, do post below along with the reasons.

Oh sh*t, don't even mention the military subreddit. I got banned for making an interesting post that told the truth about Area 51 - no BS, no aliens, no weird laser ray weapons. Somebody told me I should go pour molten lead down my throat because I'm a drunkard and an addict. I told him to go f*ck himself, and I got banned for "Not respecting other users, combined with inane posting". Kind of funny how a d*ck gets off with a deleted comment for a real life threat, and me reacting to his stupid talk got me a ban.

Everybody in that reddit can go and f*cking die. Rant over.

I hate reddit period.

It's boring, nearly every mod on there is a jerk with an ego the size of titan.

Bottom line is it get's to much press n they think they are famous i.e super stars

No, sooner sumone destroys reddit the better
