Old News : CCP is suckering us in the Skin Department

These were out before the skin system as I recall.

But you have to remember, those are the best the Chinese server has. They probably have a ton more that are just as crappy. They probably look at our best ones and yell at CCP too. What I don't understand though is why CCP bothers creating seperate skins for both servers, why not just have the same skins on both?

Yeah I wonder the same thing. Also if these are the best skins, why can't the art team use their noodle and give us something better than a color swap.

There so lame the majority of them, but I really like the idea of skins and personalizing my ship.

Afaik, those skins were a reward for some kind of tournament.. There was a devblog about it at some point..

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Serenity and Tranquility are different worlds. On serenity, they don't give a damn about their artwork. Just slap a goldan tribal pattern on random ships, doesn't matter if it fits the style ofthe game or not - somebody will fly it. Sure, a few fitting and good-looking skins will come out of that, but also a whole lot of crap. Don't do the same on TQ please.

This news is so old that it became used birdcage liner after the fish and chips wrapping, and has since been cleaned, bleached, reprocessed back into pulp, sold as recycled bulk, made into toilet paper and is currently sitting on the roll 3 sheets from the end on Chili night.
