Yeah, that story plot I posted is just a general summary which definitely can be expanded. However, the way it's written right now pretty much gives a good basic overview for a novel and or screenplay. I actually have a couple of other story plots as well.

Guess I could type them all up and send copies to various studios.

If it's all on paper, send one to yourself via mail and keep it for yourself, unopened.

Isaac Asimov answered to fans asking about their fears of "what if I send a story and they steal it?": "if it is a good story, well written and interesting, why should they steal it and miss all the other stories you can write for them?"

Ideas are extremely easy to come by. Written ideas are easy to make. Good written ideas are harder to come by, and well written good ideas are quite difficult to find. Commercially viable well written ideas are a very rare find, and it is so valuable that makes no sense to cross the author when you can just exploit his skill. Why steal "Harry Potter 1" when you can buy a whole series on the same story?

I have an infographic made by a script proofer but it's too large to imgur it... the point is: out of 300 scritps he reviewed for 5 different studios, 8 were "recommended", 89 were deemed "consider -maybe with reservations" and 203 where "Pass".

And that's out of scritps that already were good enough to be proofed.

So, to the point: write it if you're having fun with it. Good or bad, just create it!
