Nae green bookmarks in space

Three computers, identical, three accounts, identical settings, one account fails to green bracket the bookmarks. Anybody else seeing this?

Forum Rep for a bunch of characters, couple corps and one seriously Lost In Space multiboxer.

nope, (as I don't see that)

I'm guessing you are using some html code in your bracket setting (or some imported ones from some OV pack)

There are devs post floating around saying this is not a supported function, so I guess opening a ticket about that won't help much. I can't remember where, so don't take that as something official
(I'm fearing they will remove the function if too many people complain lol)

but back to OV/bracket settings, this is completely a "character" settings, not an account or computer one, this is stored in a file called core_char_xxxxxx.dat (replace xxxx by some unique number corresponding to some magic ccp key for your toon)
identifying which number to delete the file to start from a clean slate is hard, so let's not try there
but settings may have varied somewhere

things to do, using the "misc" tab in the overview settings
1 = export the overview and bracket setting from a working toon (to an file)
2 = on failed toon reset ALL overview settings (still in the misc tab), de-log and relog to force a setting disk write
3 = import overview setting from the files

this will ensure a reset and removal of strange things


this may not work, as I said, never had this exact issue (but resetting stuff from time to time is never bad)
