If so how long, what race/s and how often?

What country are you in?

What is/was your favorite edition and why?

Glory to the Warmaster!

Been playing since about '96. Mostly the forces of Chaos, have around 10k points of various legions and traitor guard.

From New York City.

Favorite edition was 3rd edition, specifically my 3.5ed chaos codex made of absolute cheese. How I miss those days..

Hit me up anytime in game if folks want to chat up the far future of incessant war.

Used to play but don't any more.

I've had a number of armies over various editions from really really old Tyranid models back when they had metal shield arm attachments, t to my most recent Slaaneshi Warbard from the Emperor's Children. Something about the paragons of humanity absolutely letting loose on a super human scale and harnessing the power of heavy metal that just appealed to me.

Still my favourite army was the SoB mainly because of the Sisters Repentia. There wasn't much a howling pack of of two handed chainsword wielding sadomasochists couldn't handle in an assault phase.

Greatest gaming moment was watching my army get annihilated by an ungodly amount of attack dice in one assault phase only to rally and then move through a squad of Khornate Berserkers then terminators in the subsequent assault phases. Losing has never been so glorious.

From New Zealand, can't remember the editions any more, and also haven't really kept up with 40k since..... I think before the Necron got their update.

What fills the soul? Something that guides a lost child back to it's parents arms. Or waves that dye the shores of the heart gold. A blessed breath to nurture life in a land of wheat. Or the path the Sef descend drawn in ash. In the wake of fire.

I used to, but it was getting way to expensive to keep up with it.

I played Eldar, Imperial Guard, and Orcs.

I don't buy anything new either. The last time I did a game was maybe 4 years ago. I figured I have all I'd ever need now, plus you know...job, fiance, apartment, general things in life that get in the way.

Sorry about all the dust, my faithful plastic soldiers.

Dublin,
I think my favourite edition was the one where you could still finish an assault and consolidate into another enemy unit andhave it count as a fresh charge and resolve it in that turn Twisted
I think that was third but I'm unsure, I stopped playing around when mechanized infantry drive-by shootings were more efficient/effective than actual elite units, it kinda sucked the fun out of it for me.

I take it you preferred 4th edition then?

I like the premise of 7th but there are definitely some misplaced random elements that make it hard to play the game seriously without going down the cookie cutter route. 1-2 years ago "highlander" lists and tournaments became a big thing and while that's cool and all it does go a long way to exposing problems with your codex, the brb or both at once.

Oh Kharn, that time he ripped out my spine and rode my corpse like he was in a rodeo.

How we laughed after!

I'm the only person on the internet who never played it or even watched a video about it.

Why should I?
Is it any good?

I don't even find people to play Generals against me ...
