with the recent changes to warp disruption field generators and their script. (now able to prevent prop mods form operating)

does anyone think that we might be seeing an increase in Heavy Interdicton Cruiser (HIC) usage for not only fleet/gang fights but solo work as well.

since the update i have just been lounging around in ym hanger playing around with my phobos both in client and on EFT playing around with fits and possibilites.

as far as solo and any form of pvp goes the HIC has much less damage output than its cosuin the HAC(heavy assault cruiser). how ever the abillty to apply damage is much greater. (50% tracking and range with 25% rate of fire at max skills) allowing the HIC to engage at further ranges which in turn complements its generator while haveing the script loaded.

i would have more pro's and con's to thier usage but i want to too see other peoples opinions on weather or not we will see a rise in HIC usage throughout new eden for any form for pvp.

HICs don't have tracking bonuses, they apply damage with the same effectiveness as HACs.

phobos does have a tracking bonus, and an optimal bonus. the rest all look to have range bonuses. and a while back they all got a damage boost.

personally I expect to see a lot of Hic usage. Having a 37.5km (t2 with max skills) no mwd/mjd zone is just ******* strong. 36km with a t2 and hics 4. looks to drop down to 20/33.8 with t1/meta and hic 5.

and that pink point is dank

I believe the scrambling effect applies only to scripted warp disruption field generators or 'infinity point'. But yeah it's pretty crazy even as a targeted weapon.
