Capsule question

Is there a way to fly my capsule without ejecting from my ship and leaving it for the taking?

I need to shuttle some of my ships around. Someone said Velators were free. How do I cash in on that?

If you are in the station, you can right click on the ship in the hangar and choose the option leave ship. This puts you in your pod with your ship safely stowed in the station.

Getting a rookie ship requires your ship hangar to be empty when you dock. As long as it is empty you will receive a rookie ship.

If you undock in just your pod, make sure you don't loiter. There are people looking to shoot your pod for the fun of it.

Never autopilot especially when you are only in your pod.

if you have multiple ships in Station A that all need to go to Station B, set your home station to Station A (or another station nearby that has a cloning bay).

Fly a ship to B and "PodX" or death clone yourself back to A. Rinse and repeat.

If you have ships scattered in multiple stations then it's a little harder.

You've never right clicked a ship in a station? O_o The option to leave the ship is right there. To get a newb ship you just have to dock your pod at a station where you don't have any ships.

Or you could just let it be Red/Black Frog's problem. That's what I usually do. They're still around, right? I haven't played in a while.

Why not just buy a shuttle, fly to the station and then either repackage it to fly it back in the cargo hold or sell it?

Better still, buy the shuttle BPO, make them yourself and do the above - that way you make a bit of money

Just buy a ton of shuttles, they are very cheap... Aprox. 20.000 isk. I usually have around 20-30 in my HQ.

Also they weigh nothing so a simple hauler will do nicely.

If you need to get somewhere quickly I recommend a Leopard (20 AU/sec), they cost ~60 mil so be careful with it. I got two from Yule.
