I've thought about trying my hand at it lots of times. I love to write, and ever since I was a kid my parents/friends tell me "You should be a writer or something", but I've never felt I could sit down and be creative on demand. Like roleplay it's something I dive into when the mood or inspiration hits.

Though my whole life tipped upside down recently; could do with more money and I've got a lot of free time still. I've been thinking more about writing. Would be nice to leave a little legacy for my daughter to enjoy once I'm gone, beyond some money and family heirlooms.

I have a few friends who're authors. Maybe I'll have a chat with 'em sometime.

Doh, I'm tired today... just installed the EVE client and tested it for 5 minutes. Avatars in CQ are absolutely lovely... ships already looked fine in my old system, but avatars... wow. Breaks my heart. They're 5 years old and *still* are top notch...

BTW, can someone remind me what's the name of he ingame chat channel?

Without being ingame to jog my memory I think it's The Like And Get Likes.

And yah. I'm a big fan of the carbon system. Absolutely spectacular avatars and environments, so much unrealised potential. I've played a ton of avatar-based 'games' and nothing takes my breath away like the visuals of EVE's avatars.

So it's a long day at work, pretty much the only chance I get to shitpost the forums these days.

I'm missing out on our corp's ****** Santa roam as we speak, a secret-santa event we're doing that's the brainchild of Syndra Silverwolf. I took part in the gift-giving part at least, and was given Solidus Yunamano (former erotic poster boy of Desolate Order) as my secret Santa. He wanted something Amarrian and hinted at polarized lazors, so I got him a hull-tanked Abbadon with polarized lazors. I included the Kador skin in the cargo for him, an exotic dancer (female), 5 units of Isogen and various optional modules if he didn't like the fit I put together. The whole corp is out roaming now for lols in their gift ships until they welp the fleet.

No idea what my gift ship is yet or who my secret santa was. Guess I get to find out when I get home and login ingame, and at least my ship will still be alive to enjoy some other time.

Unrelated; So despite my adversity to 3rd-party EVE sites I decided to check out http://oureve.com/

A social networking site for characters in EVE, yep just like G+ or facebook but in-character.

Erica made herself a profile. Now to sit back and wait for all the friend requests and dank invites out on dates.

Just kidding, seems the site isn't that well known yet or very widely used (even within the RP community), so maybe some more mentions will drum up a little extra activity for it. Besides, already had a date last night in Amarr.
