Got a link to that? I've heard several claiming to quote CCP on that statement, but I've yet to see where.

Oddly, I find it more challenging trying to come up with a real reason to maintaining good standings with multiple or all High Sec factions, besides not getting shot at by local navy patrols. If anything, more incentives to having high standings are needed rather than making more difficult to keeping people happy. Being molested by navy NPC's and getting the finger from L2-L5 agents are more or less penalties for not giving a crap rather than incentives for staying on people's good side.

It was from one of the PvE round table discussions (sorry, don't have the link handy).

I'd take anything said in a round table with a big grain of salt. Who knows how long it will take to get in game (if it even does), and how exactly will it be implemented. Anyways here's one article on the subject: https://www.themittani.com/features/pve-round-table-big-changes-and-big-ideas-ahead

I almost never spend time in gal/min space, I really don't care about those standings either. It was mostly a stroke of luck that running SoE got me above -5. Although at this point it is nice to be above -5 to minmatar to have access to SoE missions in Lanngisi.
