What sort of GPU do people use to run 2 clients side my side, also what settings can you use and still get decent FPS?

GeForce GTX 460M (on a laptop), runs two clients in fixed window on two monitors and one client in the background (3 total) with all graphics settings maxed, brackets on. The only place where I experience FPS drops is large fleet fights (200+ ships on grid, 10 FPS; 500 ships on grid, 5 FPS). I guess the performance would be better if I lowered some of the settings, but I can't be bothered P

running 3 clients in window mode over 3 separate 24" monitors powered by a 6970 2gb card.
could probably run maxed out fine but I set shaders and shadows to low. looks fine enough and I mostly play zoomed out and hate going under 60fps.

2 clients would probably run just fine on any card in the mid range and a gig of gpu ram as my previous card, but when I started the third client I would get a 1 to 2 second hiccup whenever I hit the gpu RAM limit.

Before upgrading my CG, I used to run two clients, on two separated 22" monitors with a NVidia GForce 9600 GT with 512 M of RAM on it.

I had to lower a little the details, but it was perfectly payable.

With the recent CG, I'm pretty sure you've got enough power to play confortably with 2 clients on 2 monitors any size Big smile

I run 3 clients over 3 20-inch widescreens with 2x Reason HD 5770's crossedfire in "fixed window mode" and I get 60fps on each client and I can go to each one with out the others minimizing when I click on the othersBig smile

Fixed window setting has got to be int top 5 list of best implementations from ccp, love being able to use a proper browser and still be able to keep an eye on the overview.
