Unusual or just the new "normal" ??

Came back to the game recently after a lengthy absence, and while experimenting with the new scan probe interface, I found myself in a "Shattered" wormhole system. Ive been living in here for about a week now, and ive found some unusual things about this WH beyond what is documented about the "shattered" wh systems.

The hole is listed as a C2 on every wh information site I could find, and this is supported by the statics that it has (B274, E545, and O477) which are normally found in C2s, however the sites and even some of the anomalies seem to be of types normally only found in C3s (the Oruze construct, Outpost Frontier Stronghold, Unsecured Frontier Database, etc). As I cleared out sites and they respawned, ive found sometimes I get a C2 type site, and other times I get a C3 type site.

Is this one of the possible "bonus" effects of a shattered WH, or did they change what sites can spawn in C2s, or is this just a glitch ?

In shattered WHs you can find sites belonging to the same class of regular WHs and one class up. This means a shatttered C1 will have C1 and C2 sites. A shattered C2 will have C2 and C3 sites etc.

In any shattered WH you can find all types of gas sites, including Vital/Instrumental regardless of the WH class. [even in the frigate only C13 WHs, although I have no idea how you can clear those sites in dessies]

you simply don't and huff em with the sleepers keeping you company . Although it might not work any longer it surely gives you a perspective.

You can clear instrumentals but not the vitals in t3 dessies one of two ways.

1. at lest 2 armor bonused dessies with long range turrents like confessor with beam or hecate with rail and 2 frig logi.

2. 1 or 2 specialy fit confessors with beams using a similar kite/sig tank / speed tank setup that you do with the prospects.

be warned option 2 is slow and painfull and you have to truely fly your ship the entire time. requires a deadspace AB.

Fundemental ranges you have to be aware of. keep them more then 35 k away at all times. Under 30k and they start to neut.
Their turrent range is 75k and cruise missile range is 125k.

Web/scram at 25k

With the logi method you just keep transversal up as best as possible and hwoever is getting focused gets the reps. your mostly sig tanking honestly.

Non logi method it's all about leading them around like puppies while you peal away at them one at a time. You will stay in sharpshooter the whole time unless you start to have them get too close then swap to speed mode for a moment. You will need to keep them in a turn at all times but only enough to keep them correcting. The moment they have a straight path to you they burst up to 1300 m/s . keep them turning and they stay at around 700 to 800.

Honeslty without frineds and logi it just is not worth the effort. About the time you do all the work someone wil have figured out what your doing and have a sabre ready for you by the time you get ready to huff.

If it has a wolf-rayet effect it's super easy to clear sites in t3 dessies. Hell, we've run c6 sites in a fleet of them before even. But if you have enough people, 20 toons can clear a gas site before the rats spawn.
