In the world of Eve espionage is the most ill fated, complicated, lucrative, and aggravating thing you train NO SKILLS FOR. Essentially being in the right place at the right time can mean everything from ripping off a corp for millions to the most famous Alliance wide act of meta-gaming to date, the BOB destruction from a single director. So alot can be said for the act of spying and the act of intelligence gathering, broadcasting. So I want to introduce you to something that could be the first of its kind, but is alittle long over do.. it consists of two parts.

Part 1 - Ichibutsu Commons

The commons is a delayed member channel being the first EVE wide intel channel. Anything can be posted at anytime in this channel, even fictitious intel. Lets say your laying siege to a pos in a system, and in the Ichibutsu channel someone posts what your doing and what you have ships wise.. instantly your plausibly at risk for counter-drop, maybe that was the point? The commons also acts as a common meeting place for anyone wanting intel. In the commons you can request intel on anything from a fleet in a specific part of space to more elaborate and SPY centered actions. Is Solar Fleet at war with Shadow of Xdeath.. could've been confirmed in the Ichibutsu Commons channel. Hypothetically lets say you want the password to a pos from Goonswarm? Ask in the ichibutsu channel.. someone may actually know such information! You might have to pay for it, at your own risk of course, but its plausible this could be done. Ichibutsu Operatives will be in this channel and are the only members of the channel GUARANTEED to preform the action if payed. If you ask for intel and its provided by a member of The Ichibutsu Group, it is true. We are not here to deceive those paying us. If your confused about whether or not the person your talking to is IN the corporation... Check the corp I'm in. :) The Ichibutsu Group.

Some things to think about when your posting tho..

1. Anything you post can be seen by anyone...
2. Posting anything on your main.. well.. can have unexpected consequences...
3. Information in this channel can either alert you to impending fights, or fights you might wanna go for, or leaking intel about your group could put a HUGE crosshair on your back. Be careful what you say.



Part 2 - The Ichibutsu Group

The Ichibutsu Group is a group of spys, intelligence operatives, and espionage experts who have done everything from corp theft to just intel trading. We love what we do and are committed to giving you the information that you want and need when and if possible. There is a going rate for information as there is a market for just how much work your willing to do to get what you want to know. If you ask an operative of Ichibutsu for intel then an agreement is sent to the CEO and upon completion payment is issued to the operative. Failure to pay means we wont be doing any work for you, and any agreement to privacy is null and void. All members of TIG are alts and will never at any time reveal thier mains even ti each other, information they aquire is factual ONLY.. falsified intel is grounds for dismissal. Clandestine operations, intel trading, corp infiltration, and general mayhem are all on the table for the The Ichibutsu Group.


So thats it in a nutshell, anyone is encouraged to join this channel.. and anyone is encouraged to report well ANYTHING in this channel. SO be warned... when you open your mouth can either get you some epic kills.... or a kick to the baby maker. :) Enjoy...

Interesting idea, although i can see it being spammed with false intel, and thus, useless

Always a plausibility... but if it does.. eventually those will get banned. With proof of course.

'Tis an interesting idea, but I'm not sure it will stick. If it does, then it could be useful.... or spam, as indicated in a post above. I think I'll just stick to my roots (old school stuff) but hey, maybe I'll visit from time to time. Nice to see some more abnormal ideas coming out of a rather small group of players, not referring to the Ichibutsu Group specifically but to spies and thieves in general.

so everyone is just supposed to spam intel into 1 channel?:p

sounds like its more work than accually intel:p



Even when Im running around in random FW low sec so many people will start convoing me about intel stuff its hard to handle all the information quick enough to analyze what is accually happening and respond quick enough, specially when you cant trust your scources. and u will take payment for it aswell?

More or less.. execpt the only payment that would be taken is when you ASK someone in Ichibutsu to do something.. like if you were to ask one of our members to go infiltrate this alliance... gain intel for whatever.... the peramiters of that arrangement binding and payment afterward.

Essentially in the batphone channels that occur allready when stuff goes down someone says it.. "PL cap gang in .. blah blah blah.." This alerts whomever watching that channel to cap kills. then convos presume and so on and so forth. Im attempting to see if this will work.. personnaly I think it will.
