New characters with 55k SP, others with 430k?

That one's with a day's training on a brand new account. No other history, no other characters. Brand new account was created and that's the character it got.

... so petition for reimbursement AND bug report it.

Forum readers can't do anything about it.

If you bug report it, it will get marked against an active issue so they are obviously aware of it. To get the SP back though you need to raise a support ticket.

A CCP dev should really be responding to this thread, if only to say we are aware and investigating. But then maybe they think they have already destroyed the original time based sp system anyway with the sp extractor crap and do not give one ****.Roll

I had the issue, created a support ticket and it took about a day for them to respond and fix it. They gave me 350k skill points to distribute as I wanted meaning you can safely train up skills without having to fear (as I did) for wasting time on a skill I'd get automatically levelled up anyway.

The GM's explanation was baffling to a point where a feeling of "public disobedience" almost took over but, sadly, forum rules would get me in trouble.
