Stupid question about null ratting

Since i know next to nothing about null sec combat sites (deds, belt rats, anoms etc), what ships would you suggest to use in such endeavors?

Talking about Sansha rats btw, i fly amarr.

Am I right that Dreadnoughts are useless in pve? (altho i did hear ppl using dreadnoughts in higher wh classes)

Dreads are not useless in PvE - Just not useful. Paladin/Nightmare, maybe Vindi are your best bet.

Good thing i have a nightmare laying around somewhere around here ... if i can find it in all this mess ....


And i forgot to mention, i am talking about soloing stuff if thats even possible ...

Nightmare should be able to solo any Belt or Anomoly. It may struggle in DED's without the rigth fits.
