[Quality of Life] More Complete Combat Notifications

Hello all,

With the changes coming to both neuts/nos and remote rep modules, I thought this would be a good time to suggest an update to the onscreen combat notifications.

Specifically, to expand on the somewhat limited combat log with more information.

As it stands, there is a dearth of information for most offensive or defensive modules in the combat log. All we see on screen (and in the log) is damage given and damage taken (with special options for weapon types and such). The only other module that receives special treatment is warp disruption modules.

CCP could (and should, IMO) greatly expand on this for other module types than simply weapons.

Examples include:

  • Amount repaired when a remote repair module cycles (should include all 3 repair types and energy transfers). This number should not change when overrepping (it just tells you how much your module sent out, not if they were full already).
  • Amount repaired when a local repair module cycles (option for cap boosters as well).
  • Amount of cap drained/gained when a neut or NOS is activated (both offensive and defensive).
  • Effectiveness of ewar modules that are susceptible to falloff. (A TD in activated/cycled in falloff should report x% effectiveness).
  • Text notification that you're being targeted (same as yellow box, just with text).

Naturally we'd want to be able to fully customize these notifications, but having more information and options available to pilots always helps. It gives non-DPS pilots some love when they can actually see the rep amount they're doing.

This sounds like a good idea. I don't think logi's get enough recognition on killmails for their efforts.
