ugh... some people here are starting to sound like users.

Endless problems but never bother to log call when the problem occurs.

ps. naglfars are still making siege sounds every minute even tho bug reports were made 3 months ago.
What was/were the bug report(s) numbers?
you should spend a bit more time in "Issue" forum than in "general", I keep redirecting players to the ticket system, should I tell them to the "bug report" in game instead? (booster not applying, pos gun stuck on ship and needing dock redock to fix, and other issuer, but that was just yesterday.)
Depends; one off issues should be filed as Support Tickets for Customer Support, but repeatable/reproducible issues as Bug Reports for Development.

Ever heard of growing pains? Well sometimes in the digital world of programming they tend to occur however once its all said and done and polished and pretty you'll be thankful they chose the path they did. I went on the test server Singularity the other day and I got to give it to them, CCP are creating a truly beautiful game! It was like every other second was a 'Kodak Moment'
All I can say is keep up the excellent work, you guys really do deserve more credit than you're given.

On an unrelated note does anyone know where I can buy cheap storage space I am running out quickly Big smile

I know EVE is old (i'[m nto a tech type but i imagine it can be a pain in the rear dealing with it), but I think it is annoying for many of us (especially the most loyal customers) is how often things get broken.

Crimson Harvest is a perfect example, because of it I had all manner of problems on another character and had to file a support ticket (which was handled expertly btw). No one is expecting things to go perfectly all the time, but to be honest you guys at CCP need to work on these quality control issues. We keep hearing about VR this and VR that, is CCP slipping into the old way of pre-incarna where the game was allowed to slip while CCP focused on some new shiny thing elsewhere?

Snarkily asking us if we've file bug reports (many of us have and do when there is an issue) isn't the most helpful kind of reply. A simple "we know there are some issues and we're working on them, thanks for your help" is a more proper response.

Thanks.

Dear CCP, this section of the forum, called "General Discussion" only consists of badly coverd trolling and manure tossing at people posting. I would just stop posting if I were you Lol

What are you talking about? I regularly come here, after crying my eyes out over solving the same defect again for the 10th time and by doing so causing X many new issues which I couldn't cook up in my worst nightmares, just to see people be extremely patient and understanding at the slow (but steady) rate of bug fixings (and reintroduction).

I mean.. I threw out a change that ruined peoples training time and the amount of people that are just netflix & chill about it is worrying me much more than people complaining about nebulous things being broken without wanting to go into specifics. I actually do not worry much about issues that are not well defined, life's complicated enough as things stand so I don´t have to go around filling into the blanks of complaints just so I can understand them well enough to feel bad about them. It just seems like a waste of time, regardless of whether someone is trolling or not.

I remember a bug from the other day which I haven't got around to seeing if I can reproduce (purely due to Fallout 4, my bad), but here, have a rough description:

I was something like adding bulkheads to an obelisk I was sitting in. When I dragged the module onto the ship it added but stayed offline telling me there wasn't enough CPU, then I could turn it on afterwards as the role bonus had applied, so probably just the order in which it adds the modules and applies the role bonus.

All in all BIAB seems to have been alright, but I question how much need there is for it now that big battles are less likely to occur.

My bulkheads are always offline when ever I fit them to my JF now and then I have to online them.

Yeah, intermittently I'm finding that modules will be offline at first when I fit them, regardless of whether I have the resources to fit them or not.

please restore eve to its once great game status.... like it is now it is surly going to die.

Returning it to how it was would be the death knell. BIAB is a complete rewrite of some of the most fundamental underlying code, done in order to allow things to be bigger and better than they could have ever been under the previous system.

To give you a bit of an analogy, think of a flight that has already taken off. Prior to BIAB, we were under the clouds in a rain storm. There was terrible turbulence, visibility was low, and if you weren't sitting buckled in your chair, you were probably sitting on the ground holding on to the nearest seat.

Right now, we're in the clouds. Things are turbulent, sometimes worse than below the clouds, sometimes better, but by large, it's a different type of turbulence that we aren't used to, so it seems worse than before. We are, however, still ascending through the clouds.

Once we're above the clouds, we'll be above rainstorm and the wind it brings. Things will be bright and sunny. The air is calm. Visibility is incredible.

Don't demand the plane go back below the clouds just because you spilled your drink. We're all in this together, and in the long-run, suffering these growing pains will be very, very worth the way things will be once we're above the clouds (and through these growing pains).

While we know of a few remaining issues stemming from the Brain in a Box feature, then "pretty buggy" is not what comes to my mind. Have you sent us bug reports from the issues you are experiencing?

So the server wide lag we are getting a time or two a day isn't caused by BITB?

only difference ive noticed, and it might have nothing to do with BIAB, when opening my character sheet to view standings, i always got the circle of doom and the client not responding whilst it loaded them. Now, opens straight away first time.

If some nolifes and neckberds would at least stand to their character names, they would see that CCP is doing great job fixing bugs when compared to other companies, like for example Bethesda, where you can get new game with bugs that were in previous games.

I got force undocked yesterday soon after logging in. I was just looking through my hangar, and suddenly I was in space. Didn't even have the undocking animation going.
