Ah, what shall I do now?

I am done playing World of Warships (mostly due to the random nature of wins and losses) but I am not ready to go back to EVE... not by a good stretch.

So, do I let this account lapse? The Focks are as good as gone, that's certain. But, Yiole and Indah? Pay their sub just to write at OOPE and spew some bitter elsewhere?

What do I play next? Do I wait to move into my new home and computer and start Elite: Dangerous? Do I buy Fallout 4? Or maybe give that long delayed try to Final Fantasy XIV?

And what will I do if EVE is dead for me? So it looks... haven't felt inspired in months. Eventually the shortcomings of those silly vikings in REK are too much and they've managed to completely lose my interest. To hell with their forever war and the fools waging it.

So what else...?

Twitter is going batshit crazy with the Grr Goons/RMT/Kickstarter Tears crap, gonna stay off there for awhile. I like how all the unsubstantiated claims of RMT keep getting tossed around, as if it's some sort of a joke. Mob mentality is a horrible thing to witness.

Yeah not exactly ground-breaking news that TMC has been involved in grey area RMT.


On the flip side, this whole drama has really been tickling my funny bone.

Hey, I haven't left yet. Subscription lapses on December 5th (paid 3 months back in september... on 2 accounts... and may have played like 10 out of those 90 days).

But I haven't come up with any story in months. Not even unwritten stories. And CCP with their interactable objects in space instead of places to be in them is not making it any easier.

I would like to bring TGFB to life. But come on. It can be shot and destroyed just for existing and being my property. And is not even a place but a picture. Deserted or inhabitated, a citadel is just a effin metal lump in space... even less inspiring than our ships, since them at least move around, and NPC stations, since them at least have a hangar and a CQ.

And all in all, how many of us are still around?

The issue isn't "making money on content".

The 2 main issues I have seen talked about are:

A) Using coalition ISKies to buy PLEX for TMC authors and ships to give away on streams (in other words, using Goon ISKies to boost TMC revenue)(tbf this was already well known)

and

B) Despite all the talk about the book being for the good of EVE and all that $#!7, we now see stuff like almost all the e-book revenue will be going directly to Mittens
