Hi!
We are planning the first mass test for the December release on Singularity on Tuesday, November 24th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?
New Shield/Armor/Hull damage effects.
Doppler shifting engine audio.

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Join the in-game channel "MassTesting"


Test steps:
Meet in FD-MLJ at X-BV98 gate
Jump to X-BV98
Align to POS beacon
Warp to POS beacon
Shoot the control tower
Fleet 1: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
Fleet 2: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate
All: Observe shiny new damage effects


What else should I know?

Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
Bring many different ships, but preferably fleet ships.
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

For those that would like to provide feedback on the new damage effects directly, please do so in this thread

No. We should have a separate masstest for this because we get more sp to spend :)

video driver crashed about 3 times shortly after taking down the pos at the Poitot gate shortly after landing and then twice during free fire on the other side.

Yeah, this test was a bit "special" and it had to be concluded a bit early due to driver crashes. Still: Thank you all who helped find out that this build was not a good one! Roll

I haven't seen as many crashes for a long time...

yeah. that was pretty gnarly. for a second there i thought i might need to build a new rig...till i remembered we were...you know...beta testing basically.

I can't seem to find it right now, but what about the impromtu fight at Combat area 1 or 2 that was done to test the driver issues just after the Mass test on the 24th? (Pretty sure it was done on the 25th)

I can't seem to find the thread now, but the thread said a reward of 2 mil was due for that too?

Ideas for missile launchers to make firing missiles more interesting/rewarding
