Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

I *knew* there was something with Ishtanchuk's obsession with Ka being brunette. What?

Anyone here had one of these?

I wonder if someone will reinvent it, like with 3D googles.

I used to play it a lot back in the '90s.

Worked part-time at our local Zone 3 laser games when I was a teenager. Was totally addicted to it, would sell everything I owned to pawn shops so I could go play it lol Used to love it, you'd get an individual ID card with a little chip in it, pick your own handle/nickname and kinda like EVE killboards you could keep track of your overall stats by swiping your ID card into your pack before you start. Go murdering folks in a maze full of artificial smoke with Bram Stoker's Dracula soundtrack playing.

Was this one guy working there called The Iceman who was a pro laser tag player, a state rep in the national contests. He was amazing. Always used to love 1v1'ing him when nobody was there. He'd see your pack's lights reflecting on the foil covering the air con ducts above the maze and kill you from several rooms away by bouncing his laser off the ceiling. You'd be stalking along like a ninja one minute then you'd be dead the next with no idea where it came from. Lol

I stunned him with a shoulder shot once. As close as I got to killing him.

There was a Photon Arena built in our neighborhood where my friends and I ran a few matches one summer. The arena itself was pretty cool. Basically it was a split level obstacle course with bridges, hallways, cubbyholes, etc, complete with different colored lights, laser, strobe and fog effects. Futuristic music was played over loudspeakers during the match. There was also an Observation Balcony as well as a small food court in front.

Reservations were made as a group to do battle against another group at appointed times. If not enough players in one group, people from the opposing group were added to make the groups equal.

All in all it was actually quite fun.

Howdy Folks! *tips Stetson*

Welcome back Ed!

We still have an active Lazer Tag arena just a few miles down the blvd from my house. It's been there since as long as I can remember, even from before I moved into this house 27 years ago.

*slurps coffee*

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

There was this awesome place called Boomers near my place when I was a kid. Laser tag, go karts, climbing walls, mini-golf, huge arcade...that place was the ****.

Laser tag was cool, but what I was really in love with as a child was BattleTech Centers

The deal was, you got into a pod, closed the door, and started playing MechWarrior against other people in pods.

The inside of the cockpit was unreal... all those displays were functional and useful, all the buttons did stuff. You had joysticks, pedals, everything...

They also came out with another game for it called Red Planet where you raced around canyons on Mars in armed hovercraft...

I miss that...
