Angel high sec anom escalations

Hi fellas,

When bored of getting blown up all the time in FW I sometimes run high sec anoms and seem to get some decent numbers of escalations form these.

I have noticed however that when I run angle refuges it seems to escalate to Red light districts out in null usually. Being a 5/10 in null it is usually out of my ships ability to run being lowely T1 cruisers usually.

Is there a high/low sec anom that escalated to the angels 4/10 (Occupied mining colony I think)?

Angel Cartel Occupied Mining Colony

Would be nice if it did but unfortunately no. Angel Cartel Anomalies don't escalate like the other Pirate Faction sites.

For example I've never had an expedition from Hideaway and Burrow sites but I've had lot's of Commander NPC's spawn.

Pretty much what I was beginning to suspect as it changes a lot when I fly into Derelik rather than Heimatar or Metro.

Ah well might have to work on some other easy little earner while hanging in minnie space.....

Derelik is Ammatar space, different Pirate Faction there. You probably mean Molden Heath.

Anyway, don't get me wrong, the Hideaway Anomaly is really quick to complete and at least 1 out of 10 sites (usually less) will spawn a Commander NPC which has a chance to drop Faction / Deadspace loot. I can't give an estimate on the loot drop due to not keeping track.

I can say the Burrow Anomaly takes longer to complete and also has a good chance to spawn a Commander NPC, just not as good as the Hideaway sites.

I usually just run all Hideaway sites since I know they can be completed rather quickly and regularly spawn Commander NPC's. I only run the Burrow sites if there's no Hideaway sites available. Course I always go for all Cosmic Signature combat sites first, then run all Hideaway sites in system before going to another system. After a while of searching if none of those sites are available, I'll start running the other Anomaly sites.

I've completed 100's and 100's of Hideaway and Burrow sites and have never gained an escalation to the 1/10 and 2/10 DED Complexes listed. Now I have got escalation to Angels Red Light District from both Refuge and Den sites. I can't verify the other sites listed but I do know that someone else verified that the Angel Rally Point (which lists 'unknown') escalates to Angel Mineral Acquisition Outpost which isn't even a DED Complex. It's an unrated Cosmic Signature combat site which in itself also escalates.

Now if the anomaly sites actually escalated like they're supposed to escalate, I think the list would look more like this :

They do escalate, they just escalate with Commander NPC spawns. Also do a quick fly-by to the 'Landmark' sites, those will sometimes spawn Commander NPC's as well.

Guristas and Blood Raider refuges and hideaways escalate to 4/10.
Serpentis and Sansha refuges and hideaways escalate to 3/10.
All dens escalate to 5/10, which usually ends up in lowsec Roll.

If you get lucky and get 5/10 in hisec, try running it in Gila. With some deadspace bling even few weeks old characters can easily do it.

Nah I mean Derelik as I noticed the difference in the escalations of the Angel sites vs the Sansha in Derelik.

I've had plenty of Red light district escalations but they've all be in null...And I'm usually in a bellicose or fleet sythe. Neither of which I would take into a 5/10.....need better ships methinks!

Thanks but the final list I presented is merely conjecture for anomaly escalations. The actual list is much more different and probably closer to this :

All 'named' angel hubs (forlorn, forsaken, Hidden) escalate to Angel Domination Fleet Staging Point (DED 9/10). Generally, 'named' sites escalate to one step higher than regular version, so while Angel Hub escalates to an 8/10, Forsaken Hub escalates to a 9/10.

This is why I love Angel Forsaken Rally Points, almost as good isk as Forsaken hubs, but escalates to the much less annoying 8/10 compared to forsaken hub's 9/10 (Fleet Staging Point used to be an unrated plex that CCP converted to be the "9/10").

Yeah I noticed the second list was more like the other pirate factions but didn't match how angels actually escalate.

Seeing as I generally fly frigs and sometimes T1 cruisers I think 4-10's are probably my highest I can go atm so while interesting I'm not too fussed about how the higher end stuff spawns/escalates Lol

So from my experience, the only Angel high sec Anomalies that escalate into expedition is Refuge and Den sites - both escalate to "Angel's Red Light District". The Hideaway and Burrow Anomalies only spawn Commander NPC's.

Do a test run and check it out, at least 1 out of 10 Hideaway sites (usually less) will spawn a Commander NPC. The Burrow sites don't spawn as many Commander NPC's as the Hideaway sites but it's still more frequent than all the other sites.

I believe the reason for that is due to not having expedition escalations.

TBH If i'm going to run high/low anoms I'll probably go to derelik and kill the sanshas there as they at least do follow some decent escalations :)

Not that i can stomach killing red crosses for long tbh..
