Since ccp is clearly unwilling to deal with the problem of afk cloaky camping as an anti-content problem, it's time the players take some actions.

Everyone train up an alt to fly a stealth bomber with minimal torp skills, fly one to null sec system with ore anomalies owned by someone you're neutral (or worse) with, find a safe, and cloak up. Then go to work. Or to sleep. Make sure you re log in after each downtime, and just stay there.

Every now and then, if you happen to be around, fly to an anomaly and if there's a lone miner there, uncloak, shoot him and make him run away. Then go safe up and go afk again.

When CCP starts losing subscriptions because there are (potentially) thousands of cloaky campers destroying content, limiting the ability of null sec miners to do their thing, they'll fix it.

This seems to be the only way.

Everyone go 23x7 afk cloaky camping. We can fix this.

1. No
2. If they're cloaked and AFK they pose no threat to you.

There is already a threadnaught for this.

Yes, cloaky camping is lame and a nuisance.
There are ways to kill them.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

And a nuclear weapon in its silo poses no threat either.

Better to accept that it isn't a problem. Nothing to fix.

How much of a space-coward do you have to be to be simultaneously frightened and enraged by cloaked ships that can't do anything to you?

CCP won't lose subs over this. CCP loses subs for far better reasons, approx. 20-30 steps ahead of the learning curve because people love to assume and expect.

Assumptions and expectations lead to creative content. As a result CCP gains subs.

This has been covered many times in many threads.

Move one system over.

If they move with you, they aren't AFK and you can switch to either catching and killing them, or doing something else.

If they don't follow you, operate until they jump into system and then see the previous sentence.

That way, you always have a method to detect when they aren't AFK.
