Its similar price to other BCs.
Its limited quantity tough so wont they run out?
Invest in Gnosises?
Similar to geckos?
Will ccp every give more gnosis BPCs away?

Every account received 1. Every collectors edition received additional 5. Add to that the fact that they are not very popular, and that we don't see many killmails with them in it, it's just an over-saturation of the market. They will slowly go up in price over time but it'll take a long time for them to be really valuable.

Geckos got blown up left and right in pvp and mission, and are considered among the top of drones making them a lot more desired.

30% of the combat BC kills are credited to Gnosis on Zkill this year. I'd hardly call that not very popular and I certainly wouldn't refer to it as fact.

Can I ask where you got those figures? I just took a quick look at zkill, and it shows 96823 total BC losses, with 8865 being Gnosis. That's not even 10%. In fact there are over 2x more drake losses, with myrm and cane showing significantly more losses too.

CCP seeded at least half a million of these ships and less than 10k were lost in a year.

He said kills
You say losses

That just means gnosis is OP as it produces 30% of the kills from combat BCs but only dies less than 10% of the bc losses

I did some math when the Gnosis was originally released and don't remember the numbers exactly but after a year of the Gnosis being in game I averaged out the daily killmail losses over the period of a months time and after adding up how many were in game calculated that it would take a minimum of 10 years before the lack of availability of the ship began to affect the price.

I took into account many factors at the time as I was interested in the Gnosis as a long term investment.

What I did not foresee however was that CCP would continue to release the ship into the marketplace for such an extended period of time.

Even todays elevated price which is only 10% higher than last years is, I believe, merely a reflection of the fact that there are probably hundreds of traders stockpiling Gnosis in anticipation of a price rise in the face of "limited availability".

Good luck. I don't believe Gnosis prices will be anywhere near as volatile as Geckos or the like anytime soon as such large quantities exist in the game.

I myself am still holding onto around 180 of them from my initial investment.

No CAM it doesn't, all it means is they are quite popular for gate camping and have very good agility. If you are not seboed or in a frig/T3D it is very likely you won't lock one before it aligns.

It's not OP. It's just that it's most popular use is gate camping because of the sensor strength. And since people stuff it with sebos they run away when a real fight comes along so not many are lost.
