Succession Trials: Team Sarum Museum

For us, the Trials are over, though we will continue to pray for Lady Tash-Murkon’s Champion, Lord Darklight and his team along with Lord Kor-Azor’s Champion, Lord Lysus and his team. We, the pilots of Team Sarum, seek to chronicle and remember this event and its history. To that end, we are opening up a museum in Sarum Prime at the Sarum Family Assembly Plant.

There will be three wings to the museum. The first wing will be dedicated to the men and women that crewed our ships, especially the honored dead. All of our crews were fine men and women; it would be impossible to find more faithful, loyal servants of House Sarum and Holy Amarr.

The second wing will be an exhibit of the pilots of Team Sarum: Admiral Mitara Newelle and her retainers Commander Arsia Elkin, Divine Commodore Alizabeth Vea, and Captain Raphael Ordo, all of the 24th Imperial Crusade. It will also feature the pilots that assisted us in preparation, practice, and planning. It was not just the four of us on the field that comprised Team Sarum, but many others. We do not make this exhibit for our glory, but for that of God and Amarr in the hope that other pilots will follow our example.

The third wing will contain all the ships that survived the Trials, preserved forever in their original fittings and states. Eventually, we hope that they will be open somewhat to tours.

The museum is currently under construction and should be open soon.

God bless Holy Amarr.

I know someone who loves a good museum. Please let me know when it is up and running unless we can pre-order a few tickets now.

You should sell cap boosters and ammo you used as a souvenirs to people who are willing to buy those. Blink

Maybe canned air that the crews were breathing during the battle too.

Don't be ridiculous. It is surprising to see khanid that's completely not accustomed with the holy business, live and learn I guess.

Yes, because as a Khanid I'm fully obligated to be exactly as you think I would be.

You actually kinda are - "exactly as I thought khanid serving the caldari would be", so no surprise there.

Well, then, excellent. Consider this a token insult as a response.

Ou, did I hurt your feelings with my comment or something? If that's the case I assure you it wasn't my intent at all, I'm just saying you are "exactly as I thought khanid serving the caldari would be" that's all.

Glad to see that the 'Special Relationship' is alive and well, as ever.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

And what's that supposed to mean, exactly?

Is this bickering really necessary? The Museum is intended as a place of Honor for (in Ms. Nieyli's case) an ally and (in Ensign Vellum's case) his co-officers and superior officer. I would hope that each would have the decorum to take any further "volleys" private.

Well, please excuse me, but I don't understand why I'm being disrespected as such.

Now now, kids, you'll all get to go for ice cream after the tour. (It's a joke, calm down.)

In all seriousness, though, this is a really wonderful thing to see, especially the wing of the museum dedicated to the baseliner crews of the ships. Will a section of the museum cover the other three teams who competed for the honor of representing House Sarum?

Hopefully, the other teams will follow suit as well. I may not be Amarr, but history is something that should be preserved.

Arrendis,
We've contacted the other teams and will definitely put an exhibit in on the other contenders. They are already mentioned in the main room and hopefully they will be receptive to our missive so we can do them justice.
Our absolute main priority right now is the first wing dedicated to the crew, both fallen and victorious. We're sparing no expense to get this done as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. (I guess I really am Amarr now.) Hopefully, we will have it completed in time for His Highness, Lord Sarum to give his respects to those that died fighting for him. I even more hope that the friends, family, and loved ones of the fallen find our memorial a fitting tribute.

You are most right Mrs. Aspenstar, I got too carried away so my apologies to the OP.

This is the IGS. Of course the bickering is necessary. Nobody would post here if it weren't for the bickering.....
