[Exploration] Drone data sites are bugged

I've spend about 3 weeks scanning drone data sites in null sec and i have something to say.

Can hacking approach: first I hack both High security containment facility. After that I hack research and development lab can

Here is a list of items I identify as Bugs
Bug1: Data site disappear from anomalies list after first unsuccessful hack attempt of research and development lab can even if can is not empty. I always perform second/third attempt. I saw not empty can once in such situation. Looks like site will despawn immediately with unhacked can if I warp out of it
I'm concerned about escalation when such case happens. Does

Bug 2: Drone rats appear on not-successful hack attempt. It looks like discrimination. In case of other relic/data sites you have one more guaranteed try. In case of drone data site you simply may not because you are likely unarmed covert ops pilot

Bug 3: Sites huge round drone structure in a center not despawn and throw drone rats even on successful hacking of research and development lab
Sites like that
I saw alot of them and all(i mean 100% of them) are bugged. They don't despawn on completion. Never escalated. Throw rats always

so far as I'm concerned, for your 3 points:
1 there is no escalation in data site only combat site

2 this is comparing what? null sec level to low/high/W-space site? each site has its scripting dependending on name/complexity/difficulty, that may not be a bug at all but a design (unarmed covert ops is ok in high/low/C1-3, not anywhere else,
T3 are here for that among other)

a bit outdated and this specific drone complex is not much documented.


if you really think something is bugged, your only course of action is to open a ticket in the support, please tell us what they answer you

I'm doing only nullsec data sites.
I have a counterquestion: Why there is no rats in null space angel/guristas etc data sites? It looks strange to me

for possible for escalation, I never *ever* encountered one in data site. luck I guess, that was a looong time ago when the site I linked you was not outdated

and as for no rats in data site : there were BS and turret in null... again long time ago.


as I said : this is not where you will get "help" from ccp, this is player help, go open a ticket, and please give us their answer so other may share this.
