Tbh, I didn't read your OP that way, that you somehow see your manhood as being under attack and that you really do need a safe place.

Now it seems you weren't just joking, but are totally serious.

In which case, this whole thread is the very definition of a trope. The whole concept is based on being males as damsels in distress and needing a safe place away from the nasty male oppressors.

Good luck to you if that's the case.

I am talking about my female oppressors that are part of matriarchy. I have never been oppressed by a man that is just my experience not everyone's experience. My experience is my own and clearly by the amount of Male gamers who have reached out to be a part of our channel mean that I am not alone in my experience. We are simply men who are tired of being oppressed by matriarchy.

This thread is making me in touch with myself. I hope I don't go blind.

The only way to keep it classy would be to close the thread and let those of you scared of your own shadow, a chance to gain some self confidence.

This type of hate speech is what is keeping men down. You should be ashamed of yourself I am in fact ashamed for you. hopefully one day you will join the cause and become a men's rights activist.

Here I thought half the "male" faces were actually female gamers trying to avoid marriage proposals. Especially the ones with gray hair.

I too had to make a female avatar out of fear of oppression. Even the game itself is named after a mythological female figure; it's impossible to freely and openly be a guy these days.

Haha. Lol.

Thanks, but I don't need to be an activist for men's rights. We have all the advantages we need already without being bleeding hearts for ourselves.

The only thing I am suggesting is a safe space for men to discuss issues without fear of oppression from matriarchy. Patriarchy system still exist in the world and it is just as unfair to woman as it is to men. I am not ignoring the plight of women in other countries or parts of the world or possibly in EVE. I am simply trying to make a safe space for eve male gamers free from harassment. Which female gamers have also setup which I 100% support. I can not believe that something so pure would be met with such negativity; it is truly alarming. I would honestly like to hear about the advantages that men have in eve because in my 12 years of playing I have had to overcome being a man to get ahead in EVE.

I am not going to talk about the higher male suicide rate, the injustice that often occurs in family court, or any other social injustices that occur on a daily basis. Eve is not the place for that. Maybe 50 years ago we enjoyed UNFAIR advantages but, that just is not the case today. I am not preaching or even in favor of how it used to be. It was terrible woman had less rights then men. Now we have new injustices forming and if you do not believe me you should do some research. The sad thing is most men are afraid to come out and even talk or address these issues out of fear of being called a sexist when all the are preaching is equality.

Well now you have just gone beyond funny straight to creepy.

Oppression in a video game. The whole concept is ridiculous.

A lot of the stuff you listed above is stuff that if we discuss it in the forum, it'll just devolve into personal attacks and complete disregard of opposing opinions, so I won't go into that stuff. There are a lot of issues underlying statistics that make their interpretation not so straight forward.

Ok, no back to funny.

WW2? Really.

As for appeasement, that's the exact opposite of what I'm doing. Dumb ideas don't warrant appeasement and this thread is full of stupid.

Sticks and stone and all that stuff. If you are feeling oppressed by anyone, then it's a choice you've made to feel oppressed. Make a different choice and be confident in who you are and not worried about what others might or might not say. Doesn't seem very manly to seek a safe refuge because Grr Women.
