There isn't constant war because always actively fighting in wars is not an economically feasible tactic. If the major alliances always did that, eventually their resources would not be able to keep up with all the ships and modules being lost, leaving some newcomer able to take territory piece by piece while the bigger alliances and Corps spread themselves too thin.

If you want war, why don't you go stir a nest of Drifters in the Incursions, or join an Incursion fleet in general?

A blue Wyvern warped in to save his alt's Golem this evening and was promptly psssshhhhhh'd by PL and Volta. Then PL killed the Volta guys who had batphoned PL for the kill in the first place. We all had a good laugh about it, made salawat to the welp god and gave thanks for space content. You can have content too but the amount given is only what you make for yourself. Amen.

The nature of this game is everyone has to make (create themselves or find someone who will provide) their own fun. If you aren't having fun where you are, then that is something you have to change yourself, be it change what you are doing, or change where you are trying to do it.

If ratting isn't your thing, for god sake, don't do it; no one is forcing you to do it, and its far from the only thing to do in nullsec. I've lived in Fade, Pure Blind and Deklein for four and a half years now, and I haven't seriously ratted past my first month (barring the month I spent getting my sec status back in to the green shortly before Burn Jita 2, never again Straight, and a few odd days every year or so when I forget how miserable it is and try it again only to immediately stop again), and I've been able to find plenty to do.

The issue is a lot of things in EvE require a decent amount of effort to co-ordinate (big wars for example can burn out a lot of the guys running it due to all the admin duties) so if you are just sitting back and demanding content, you are requiring other people to expend effort for your fun. Be pro-active; sure, you wont be able (or trusted) to run a multi-month war without some experience behind you, but nothing is stopping you taking a roam out. Speak to your corp (alliance, coalition) mates, and you'll quickly find some like-minded folks that you can go and find trouble with. You indicate you are in Goonswarm - have you looked in to the various sigs? I am personally in two sigs that are currently deployed to different areas of the map, and another that is sending fleets daily (even 2 or 3 times a day) out from our current main staging station.

If you think this of null and you live in null, your decision making process is questionable at best..

I always see these "there is no war" posts, then I go to zkill and look up the name "Jenn aSide" and count all the dead Bees (Goons), Garden Gnomes (Get off my Lawn) and flaming birds (FCON) icons i see.

Then i realize forums are bullshit.
