Freighter Carrying Cargo Container

Why can't I drag aa assembled cargo container from my hangar into my freighter? It tells me that it can only carry this type of item packaged!!!

cargo container cannot be stored directely in a freighter IIRC
you need a freight container (there is a whole section of size in the market)

they don't have the addtionnal extradimensionnal space cargo container offer
