Mining isn't as much a problem as hisec incursions, and hisec incursions aren't as much a problem as CCP who won't get rid of them and in fact go out of their way to ensure the absolute safety of anybody wishing to play that piece of Eve.
Play any other piece of eve and you are on your ******* own sunshine, but play incursions and a benevolent CCP will smile down from their ivory tower and **** isk into your eyeballs.

Nobody knows why.

You can make quiet alot from incursions. and high sec incursions are wimps comparent to Null-sec Incursions. so stop whineing.

thats crap......... mining has one of the highest risks

1. everyone and his mother can suicide gank your 220mil isk hulk with 1 or 2 cheap fit destroyers

2. rats in blood raider & drone 0.0 will kill you once those nuets hit u.

3. they are painfully slow at moving and aligning

4. t1 mining barges have no tanking ability whatsoever

MISSIONING, PRODUCTION & TRADING are by far safer professions in Eve. You only lose ships in missions if your not fitted properly or skilled properly.

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

Well, that's assuming the Hulk is fitted with anti-tank mods. On a different note, assuming that each Catalyst is dishing out at least 2,000/volley and can pull in at least three shots before Concord arrives, it will take no less than 6 Catalysts to successfully gank a well-tanked Hulk (two tier 3 BCs if you want to dish out 11k/volley and if you can squeeze in a second shot).

the recent goon attempt to fix the price of gallante ice definatly increased the price of ice, weather or not they made alot of isk i dont know.

Between technetium and the ice interdiction we are so rich our ship reimbursement program recently started reimbursing Machariels at 100%

And if you believe that, I have ocean front property to sell you in Hek.

What's really funny is that this time I'm not even trolling.

I wouldn't admit that where your Highness The Mittens can see it...I think you're supposed to troll 110% of the time as one of his lowly servants, aren't you?

The Goon ice threat did indeed push blue ice prices up to a point where it's actually benefited carebear ice miners enormously, just like they didn't intend. Blue ice is still worth more even now.
