Don't get me started on tropes against men in video games.

Do women think that men are too stupid to call the police, when the damsel is in distress ? Instead of doing the sensible thing and waiting for the professionals to handle the situation, we're portrayed as suicidal braindead maniacs who rather commit several cases of homicide. It's as if we were solely guided by hormones and reproductive urges.

Is there a place on the Internet left where men don't get showered in free adult movies to keep them subdued and docile ? Why doesn't this happen to women ? Right ?

In which case, this whole thread is the very definition of a trope. The whole concept is based on being males as damsels in distress and needing a safe place away from the nasty male oppressors.

This phenomenon is not confined to EVE, by a long shot.

My experience in EVE has been good in regards to this, which is more than I can say for a couple of other games that I have played. I've looked back on a couple of situations and wondered why I didn't inform some overzealous young men that I was likely old enough to be their grandmother, just to see their reaction. As it was, I simply left. I'd rather not deal with that stuff.

PS: Sorry for the typos and wall of text it was a pure passion post.
PPS: I would like to thank my girlfriend for the courage to continue fighting for men's rights. I met her in college and we have been men's rights activist ever since.

We want to make sure we cover all topics. Men's rights are being trampled every day. The other week some woman at a bar tried to steal my precious seed after drugging my tea. luckily i had a drink tester kit with me so I was able to escape.

+1 for the rights of men. I don't believe a person should feel negative about who they are, especially not the beautiful, intelligent men in EVE.

You can see from a lot of posts in this thread alone why we need this. God bless you all for standing against the tide. I won't be joining the channel, I actually enjoy cleaning and cooking for my wife, and spend time with the kids. I do miss her sometimes (she is a lawyer and works 50-60 hours a week) but still I guess it's a price i pay for the lifestyle I enjoy. But all in all I knew what I was getting into marrying such a driven person. Plus leaves me lots of time to EVE.
