Multiple client launching issue

I use multiple clients in a number of ways, if I'm logging in my entire army for a mining-fest, I use ISBoxer which obviously launches through the .exe

When I'm just trying to do a couple of things in my local space, I tend to use the (old) launcher, kick up one account, then once thats in, kick up the 2nd... I HAVE run up to 9 accounts logging each one in individually like that but it was hell, and inspired me to subscribe to ISBoxer...

Today however, something seems to have changed.
I logged in my first account, and thats all fine, on the launcher I changed accounts and went to my 2nd account, clicked play... it scrolls to "launching" like normal, and eventually back to "play", and a second eve client pops up on my screen in the background, but it stays at "white screen" and eventually hits "not responding"....

If I close the FIRST account, the 2nd account then hits character select just fine...

Up until today, I've been able to use multiple accounts this way with no issues at all, and there was no patch today to change things at my end, has something changed that I'm not aware of?

(I have held off using the beta launcher because it's reported to wipe settings and I'm waiting for a setting import option)

your last line made my hair cringe, you should search a bit before believing whatever "some people" tells you

no the beta laucher don't "wipe" your settings... it just copy the exe of eve to another folder. and as you must know setting in eve are stored based on the folder of the exe (stupid but hey 12 years in the dev...)
in the first days, you had to copy the settings in the new folder manually

Now (since a month now) the beta launcher simply copy your old settings into the correct folder for you, you can even set a serie of different profiles, that may be useful for telling 1 client to go to screen 2 for example.
The beta launcher is not a window manager and will not be the thing for multiscreen or mosaic settings of mutlple client

new launcher will store all your password for each account and launch all clients you want at the same time. that's all it does (and it's great just for that)

but your issue with old launcher is strange, what you describe is a application hanging.
there was no patch since last thursday, is there a resource issue on your side (memory/disk) that would lead to slow response?

what happens if you launch 2 games with the exefile.exe directly without the launcher
