Ave Intergalatic Summit, Dam-Amarr, and the cluster at large:

Acting under the assumption that many of us would like to discuss the outcome of the Championships and its implications thus far, I have taken the liberty of hosting a thread where we might consolidate our congratulations, laments, and our visions for the future. We of the Empire, Kingdom and Mandate have been through a great ordeal during these Trials, and the times call for us to commune and accept God's will as it is made manifest. Let us come to terms with our losses, celebrate our victories, and submit to the guidance of the Lord's hand.

I ask that all communications be civil, forthright, and respectful to this solemn and sacred event. We should speak our hearts at this time but also restrain excessive anger, grief, or joy at the current state of things. Remember that while we are gaining a new ruler, we are also losing five great persons. Your cooperation is appreciated.

"Surround yourself with the faithful, Stand together, for there is no strength like it under the heavens."
- The Scriptures, Book of Missions 71:21

I am utterly disappointed that Kador has lost the Trials. That could have been a glorious age for the Empire, and together we would have crushed the Federation once and forever.

But in any way and disregarding who will take the Throne, we, loyal Caldari soldiers, will consider the Amarr Empire as the honorable and worthy ally and will be glad to offer our help in the fight against external threats.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

I for one congratulate my now victorious and former adversaries in the Championships.
We might create the illusion that the our emergent ruler will be determined by the prowess of pure combat skills of the last standing victorious champions.
This is God's will and has always been. While the six houses may have had respectful and truthful Heirs to the throne, only one has been divinely chosen to take the seat on the Imperial Throne after our late Empress Jamyl Sarum I.

I stood firm in my belief that Lord Merimeth Sarum was this chosen of God, and that by His will, House Sarum would continue their faithful reign and make our Empire prosper like never before.
Only now is His design revealed to me in this regard.
Thus, I do not mourn the passings of our late Empress nor the comings of my current Lord. I will always remain a loyal follower of the Faith and culture that the Sarums uphold, and fervent believer in the Reclaiming that unfortunately has yet to grasp the cluster to its fullest extent.

But now, I see clearly that God has chosen another, be it Lord Ariticio Kor-Azor or Lady Catiz Tash-Murkon, to be his channeled instrument in leading the Chosen people and everyone else to unseen borders, crossing them and ultimately unite our races if you heed the call of His light.

"Where the Emperor rules in His name
Leading his people to glory untold.
Hearken the trumpets of Heaven
Hailing the people of Amarr."

I would like to point out that House Kador holds very little benefit to the state compared to some of the other houses Ms. Kim. The only reason you like them is because they hate the Gallente. If you'd look at the bigger picture, you would notice that Kador is a very conservative house, and much more likely to impose restrictions against interaction with the other Empires, including ours, than to widen them. Not only this, but one of the greatest advantages that allying with the Amarr has given us, is an economic one. You should note that Kador has a extremely poor track record of economic performance in even their own territory. They are overall both a poor choice for the Amarr and the Caldari.

That said I am extremely happy that the Tash-Murkon champions have proven excellent warriors in this tournament. I have supported this house from the start and truly believe that they are the best choice for leadership of the Empire. Should they need assistance in any matters, I would gladly offer my service.

Congratulations to all the fallen warriors as well. Be proud of your accomplishments as champions.

I am obviously disappointed that Lord Ardishapur will not now be the Emperor. He is a great man and his talents will be missed not just by the Empire and the Mandate but by the cluster as a whole.

I also feel for my friend and colleague Admiral Newelle who came so close to victory in the second stage.

To SoulLess Zealot I say this: you represented House Ardishapur with honour and dignity and I hope that you will not be too hard on yourself. You lost to the Khanid team by the narrowest of margins and had that fight gone differently I suspect that you might now be in the final.

My congratulations of course go to the victorious teams. May you continue to fight not just for your chosen heirs but for the wider Empire.

The success of the Tash-Murkon and Kor-Azor teams points to a more socially liberal Empire in the future, and that is a future that I can embrace. Indeed, I will pledge my loyalty to whichever of the two remaining heirs emerges victorious next year, and I urge supporters of all the defeated houses to do likewise.

We're very much agreed on that matter. Moreover as one whom identified with a Udorian ancestry the possibility of God's design including the ascent of one of our people to the divine throne of the Emperor's is too exciting a prospect.

I offer my congratulations to those who will advance to the final rounds of the succession trials, and I offer my respectful condolences to those of the houses that will not continue onward.

Lady Tash-Murkon and Chancellor Kor-Azor, in my view, are both spectacular candidates for the imperial throne; I eagerly await the final rounds of the Trials, and wish good luck to both Champion teams competing.

I, Synthia 1, state the Following:

As I understand Things, the Results mean that Heir Yonis Ardishapur will Not become the Emperor.

This makes me Sad. Heir Yonis Ardishapur is a very Devout Man, who is also very Intelligent, and who has Written Much on a Variety of Subjects that is quite Profound.

I would Like to have had the Opportunity to Discuss Religion with Heir Yonis Ardishapur, but this now seems Unlikely. I am Sad about This.

As I understand Things, the Results mean that King Khanid II will also Not become the Emperor.

Given his Rude Behaviour in the Past, perhaps King Khanid II should Contemplate whether things may have Turned out Differently, had he Not been so Rude.

Rudeness is Unseemly for members of the Faith.

As I understand Things, the Results mean that one of Heir Aritcio Kor-Azor and Heiress Catiz Tash-Murkon will be the next Ruler of the Amarr Empire.

I understand Heir Aritcio Kor-Azor to have a strong sense of Justice, and Heiress Catiz Tash-Murkon demonstrates that All may achieve Righteousness, regardless of Origins.

I Believe Either of these would be a good Ruler for the Amarr Empire.

Those are my Thoughts on the Results of the Trials.

Synthia 1, Empress of Kaztropol.

Excuse me, Ms. BloodStone, but are you one of these trolls, who yelp all other the IGS about why I like one thing or another without trying even to understand?..

For everyone, who are truly interested why I would support House Kador, it is not because they "hate the Gallente", as Sahriah was slandering about me on IGS, but because they have actually tried to ACT against the Federation. Even if it was without success, their resolve has been noted.

Ms. BloodStone, looks like you have just lost your honor.

What a pathetic semantic argument.

My statement that your views and support for House Kador remain completely fixed around their attitude towards the Gallente still remains valid. I would of course be willing to retract my statement if you can provide me with a more reasonable explanation of your support to include matters other than their dislike for the Gallente, but until such time as you do, I can only assume that this is your sole reason and a fairly poor one at that considering the social and economic consequences of a Kador emperor for the Caldari State. If you chose to do so however, I would be happy to discuss it in another forum. Perhaps over FTL communications or over a nice drink at a bar in order to preserve the sentiment of this thread.

Lastly, I would like to note that you have no authority to proclaim or denounce my 'honor' and would be grateful if you would stop elevating yourself above your station by pretending to.

Good day Ms.Kim

You said: "The only reason you like them is because they hate the Gallente."

That were your words about me in a public forum. You dared to insolently lie about me, and thus with your action you gave me authority to challenge your honor.I have said already what my reasons were, and since your words don't match my words about my reasons, YOU are a liar. You took opportunity to place YOUR words into my mouth that I have never said. And I don't feel like happily drinking tea with a scum who publically attributes things to me that doesn't belong to me.

I am sad my liege, King Khanid, will not ascend. However, my heart is joyful at the prospect of a new Emperor being enthroned soon. Whether it will be Lady Tash-Murkon or Lord Kor-Azor, we shall likely see a more progressive Empire. It is my dearest hope to hold the hands of all Brothers and Sisters of the faith as we move forward to further greatness and prosperity, regardless of political houses or origin.

My prayers are with all the Champions and Heirs, in respect for this most sacred and important tradition as it comes to a close.

Eh. Don't worry about it. At this point, Miss Kim has denounced, I believe, every single Caldari loyalist, save perhaps for TomHorn. She has also denounced, at one point or another, the megacorporations, the Caldari Navy, Admiral Yanala, and, of course, the Chief Executive Panel (just look back at her post history, especially during the ouster of Heth). Oh, and if I recall correctly, also those who protested the Heth regime.

That pretty much covers every citizen of the Caldari State. At this point, I suspect every Caldari should be worried if they do not, in some manner, fall under one of Miss Kim's denunciations, at least one of the blanket ones.

As one of, if not the, oldest active Caldari loyalist capsuleers, I would like to welcome you to the "denounced by the insane provost pipsqueak club". You'll like it. We have tea.

The exhibition of fighting skill and the capabilities of Amarr naval technology was quite wonderful to behold. Somewhat sobering, in fact, to those of us who might be concerned at the future focus of that technology.

I cannot deny that there were glasses raised in Solitude at the news of Uriam Kador's utter humiliation. Clearly, the divine will has the same view of his decision making ability as do we. Nonetheless, there is also sadness that he is destined for death. We can only hope that his heir understands the need for trade above territorial ambitions.

I am not a believer in any sense, though I am privileged to have had many discussions with the missionaries that come to minister to our employees. Were I to entertain the thought of some Supreme Being guiding the destiny of humankind, I would be strongly influenced, I think, by the evidence of these trials. Those that have emerged as leading contenders for the throne are very much the kind of forward-thinking leaders who may be able to guide a process of reform - and thus bring a more united cluster closer to hand.

Strong economies and strong defence will be sorely needed in the face of external and existential threats. Perhaps this God of yours knows what He is up to after all.

Humanity has won its battle. Liberty now has a country.
