Has CCP interest that many ISK be destroyed?

You often hear this statement, the subordinate clause: "Otherwise, the economy would collapse."

What do you all mean?
Is that really true?
Would it lack something when no ship would burst example in the next 6 months?

Things don't wear out in Eve so destruction is required to provide demand for new production. Both buyers and sellers are required to make the economy work.

They could make resources more scarce and then make ships indestructable.
The meagre resources would then have a relatively high demand for new player ships and people who were upgrading.

Then there would be the problem of warp scramblers and disruptors.

Also, how would it work? No hull = no modules work and no repairs work?

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

The rioting in the streets part is what MMO economies lack. Nothing like the threat of some good old
wanton destruction to keep those pesky capitalists in line!

There just isn't anything that can be said!

Manufacturers wouldn't be able to feed their families.

The price of ships will fall due to a low demand.

Low prices of ships would lead to some people stockpiling them.

Which means after 6 months when ships do start to explode again the economy will be slow to get moving as pilots have stockpiles of ships that require exploding.

It's just a hypothetical scenario. It is about the fundamental question of whether the economy in EVE (as it is constituted) need this permanent destruction of ISK. I doubt this seriously.

If no one loses his ship, the requirement will be satisfied at some point. (but also no shortage prevail) Of course, there would be professional relocation. That is beyond question! Eventually no more modules would be needed and ISK would be used solely for other consumer goods (POS). The question is not whether the player would find the motivation, the question at issue to me, is whether the economy would still work yet.

Except in eve a ship loss generates isk.

the interesting thing I think is that the better we get at farming resources for the most part prices go down despite more isk being created. Things like unique ships and PLEX however seem to become ever more expensive. I used to say t2 bpos as well, but those seem to have leveled off, but I also don't have any statistics to back it up.

I've always thought the whole thing could be a lot more interesting than having three hp bars that stand between you and replacing the whole ship.

One such design thought was keep ships as they are for the most part, but give them substantial hull hp increases (enough so that hull is easily 90% of their hp) and native hull resists in the 90+%. The best part, EvE already mostly supports the next part: Ships take module damage when taking direct hull damage, you can fight to keep them repaired in combat, but once they are offline, they are offline until you dock. At certain thresholds of hull damage, certain systems could be disabled, up to and including the warp drive, normal engines, and maneuverability. This is allows the ship to be disabled rather than outright destroyed, though just completely destroying it is a definitely a valid option. Imagine the potential paradigm shifts.
