What options for highest refining rate?

Getting back into the game after years away. My refining rate is topped off at 69.4% refining. I did some google searching but didn't find any threads that are too recent or include the current patching updates.

I know I could buy a 4% implant, but beyond that I believe my options are to use a POS, which I know very little about. Nor do I know how the upcoming changes will effect the POS situation.


I have a significant amount of ore build up and have my standing with the local station at 9.2 but I realize that after 6.0, there isn't a point in a higher standing.

As a solo player, what are realistic options/costs of setting something up to achieve a higher yield? I'm working around .5/.4 space typically.

Industry recived big changes like year ago , so find that pach , also refine to be even close to that before you need toped skill and implant , you got a bit more in pos , beter pos module also available in 04 or lower sec

While the percent yield for ore refining dropped, CCP compensated by increasing the mineral content of the ore so the minerals you receive with maximum skill are the same as they were before. The real nerf was for reprocessing modules and scrap - that was intended.

An option that wasn't available previously is to compress your ore which usually adds value because it is the most efficient way to import minerals to Nullsec.
